Free Fire Clash Squad SEA Cup 2023, featuring teams from the regions of Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and MCPS, will start in July, announced Garena.
From July 7 to 16, these 16 teams will compete in six match days for a portion of the USD 50,000 prize pool. Fans can anticipate a new type of Free Fire esports action following the conclusion of the Free Fire SEA Invitational (FFSI 2023) just last weekend. They will be able to watch their preferred teams compete in the game's very first multiregional professional Clash Squad (CS) Mode tournament.
Tournament Format
The Free Fire Clash Squad (FF CS) SEA Cup will span two weekends, with the Single Elimination bracket happening from July 7 to 9 and the Double Elimination bracket taking place from July 14 to 16.

The format for the first week's matches will be a best-of-three (Bo3) series. Before the tournament begins, there will be a drawing event to designate the teams' brackets. Each of the first two days will feature eight teams competing for four spots in the next round. On the third day, the top eight teams from both days will compete for four spots in the following week.
In the second week, matches will be played in a best-of-five (Bo5) format. Each of the best four teams from the previous week will face one other opponent first. The victors of the two matches will then face off in the Upper Bracket, while the losers will compete in the Lower Bracket for the final opportunity to reach the Grand Final. On July 16, Free Fire gamers will witness the crowning of the FF CS Cup champion at the Grand Final.
