Indonesian team Onic Esports emerged as MLBB SEA Cup (MSC) 2023 champions after defeating Filipino squad Blacklist International in the grand finals on June 18 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
It's been a long time since Indonesia snagged an international title. It was in 2019 when the country captured the win in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup (bannered by Onic) and M1 World Championship (represented by Evos Legends).
In MSC 2023, Onic Esports, led by Filipino jungler Kairi "Kairi" Rayosdelsol and head coach Denver "Yeb" Miranda, went undefeated throughout the group stage and knockout stage. It ultimately took down Tier One-led Blacklist International in the best-of-seven series grand finals, 4-2, to secure its second title in the mid-season international tournament.

To recall, RSG Philippines won the MSC 2022, defeating Indonesia's RRQ Hoshi with a clean sweep, 4-0.
