Naafiri to release in League of Legends (LoL) Patch 13.14

Riot Games announced that Naafiri, the new champion for League of Legends, is coming in Patch 13.14, which is slated for release on July 19, 2023. Check out the latest champ's skills and other details below.

Overview

The summary of the story or lore of The Hound of a Hundred Bites, Naafiri, goes like this. Naafiri, an ancient Darkin of immense power, was destined to lead her pack, but her plans came to an end when she was entombed with a blade and imprisoned in a crypt buried deep beneath the Shuriman dunes. Centuries later, on a fateful day, Naafiri was released and bonded to a new host or hosts, the Dune Hounds.

Naafiri was initially enraged by her new state, but she soon realized that the pack's collective consciousness would prove indispensable to her plans. In contrast to her brethren, who fought individually and were defeated, Naafiri's strength is derived from the unity, loyalty, and combined strength of her pack. Naafiri now seeks to unite her fellow Darkin and will call upon the entire strength of her pack to ruthlessly destroy anyone in her path.

Naafiri Abilities

Passive - We Are More

After a period of time, Naafiri makes a Packmate that attacks her enemies for physical damage, which is increased after she uses an ability. Attacking champions with abilities or eliminating opponents reduces the cooldown of this ability.

Q - Darkin Dagger

Naafiri hurls blades tainted with Darkin, dealing physical damage and inflicting a brief bleeding effect. This ability may be recast. If the enemy target is already bleeding, inflict the remaining bleed damage in addition to bonus physical damage and missing health physical damage. Naafiri restores some health if the target is a champion. Packmates will leap at the first target hit, prioritizing champions and hitting them for a few seconds.

W - Hounds' Pursuit

After a short delay, Naafiri dashes at an enemy, inflicting physical damage and momentarily slowing her target or the first champion she collides with. This ability's range increases based on your ultimate rank. The packmates of Naafiri become untargetable and dash alongside her, dealing additional damage per Packmate.

E - Eviscerate

Naafiri charges forward, dashing and inflicting physical damage on enemies she passes through before exploding and dealing additional physical damage. Then, packmates are recalled to Naafiri and completely healed.

R (Ultimate) - The Call of the Pack

Naafiri readies to hunt, empowering her Packmates and spawning for a brief duration additional Packmates. Then, Naafiri obtains an out-of-combat Movespeed, vision, and a shield the first time she hits an enemy champion. All ultimate effects are refreshed on the first champion takedown.
