2023 ROG Zephyrus G14 Key Specs and Features
The internals of the 2023 Zephyrus G14 are brand-new. This gaming laptop features up to an AMD Ryzen Zen 4 processor and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU. In addition, it has a MUX Switch and NVIDIA Advanced Optimus for intelligent switching between optimal frame rates while plugged in and longer battery life while on the go.
This year's G14 lineup boasts ROG's first-ever 14-inch Nebula HDR display, which demonstrates incredible motion and image clarity. The display features a QHD resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, a high 165 Hz refresh rate, and a Mini LED backlight with individually dimmable zones for spectacular HDR gameplay. With 504 dimming zones, 600 nits of max brightness, and full DCI-P3 color space coverage, it offers vibrant and immersive content. For gamers for whom HDR is less of a priority, the Zephyrus G14's improved AniMe Matrix display with limitless animations will make it stand out.
Even more so in a compact chassis, powerful hardware necessitates optimal cooling. ROG Intelligent Cooling System of the G14 lineup features a vapor chamber for the CPU and GPU with Thermal Grizzly's liquid metal thermal compound for ultra-efficient heat dissipation to optimize the work and play experience. The vapor chamber, which covers 48.2% of the heat-generating components, enables the G14 to have a 25W higher power allowance, maximizing performance without increasing fan noise or chassis size.
The ultra-compact and portable device is available in Eclipse Grey or Moonlight White and has a 180° ErgoLift hinge, 1080P FHD IR Camera for Windows Hello, Dolby Atmos surround sound technology, and Two-Way AI Noise Cancelation, which filters both input and output audio to make streams, chats, and recordings clearer than ever.
