Overview

After months of nerve-racking competition in the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) Challengers Pacific, ten teams will emerge as the region's most talented, determined, and tenacious champions. But only 1 team will ascend to claim their place in the ranks of the VCT Pacific league.

VCT Ascension Pacific provides teams from Japan, South Korea, Oceania, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia & Singapore, Taiwan & Hong Kong, and South Asia with the opportunity to be promoted to international league status, allowing them to compete for seats at global tournaments: Masters and Champions. They will also compete for a total prize pool of USD 100,000.

In Bangkok, Thailand, the tournament will be contested on LAN in front of a live audience.

VCT Ascension Pacific 2023 Format

The tournament will begin with the Group Stage, in which two groups of five teams will compete in a single round-robin in a best-of-3 format.

Each group's top three teams will advance to the playoffs. The top two teams from the Group Stage will receive direct entry into the Semifinals. The quarterfinals will begin with the remaining four teams.

The playoff bracket will feature single elimination. The initial rounds of the Playoffs will be best-of-3, followed by a best-of-5 Grand Final.

Schedule

From June 28 to July 9, VCT Ascension Pacific 2023 will run for ten days of intense competition. The tournament consists of two stages:
  • Group Stage: June 28 to July 4
  • Playoffs: July 7 to 9

Tournament day matches will start at the following times:
  • Group Stage: 1 PM THA // 2 PM GMT+8 (PH Time)
  • Playoffs: 4 PM THA // 5 PM GMT+8 (PH Time)
