Garena Undawn has announced its latest update, Desert Fury, bringing a new map, gameplay mode, two new character roles, and milestone rewards. The new patch will release on August 24, 2023. Check out more details below.
New Map: Golden Desert
Upon entering the new Golden Desert map, players will team up with Catherine, a seasoned sniper, to search for missing allies and expose the truth behind an unknown threat.
New Boss: Giant Sandworm
Those players who have attained level 70 can also test their mettle against the game's newest Boss, the evasive Giant Sandworm.
New Gameplay Mode: Rally Racing
In this new gameplay mode, players can take a spin in exotic vehicles across six distinct racing tracks spread across various maps. Depending on the game mode, a list of vehicle options will be made available.
The players will be introduced to the Golden Track on the outskirts of the Golden Desert, where they can choose from an assortment of jeeps and cars. Once a rally racecourse encompassing mountains and deserts, the track now hosts the annual "Golden Lightning Cup" World Rally Race, a premier off-road rally competition.
New Character Roles: Highwayman and Troubadour
Garena Undawn will introduce two new roles, Highwayman and Troubadour, in addition to the numerous characters already available in the game.
Soon, players will be able to choose between modifying and creating their own vehicles as a professional "Highwayman" or jamming to the impassioned beat of punk music as a free-spirited "Troubadour."
Desert-Themed Rewards Available From August 24 to 30, 2023
During the event period, several in-game rewards inspired by the desert-themed patch update will be made available to players as a gratitude for their participation.
Those who log in between August 24 to 30 can unlock free exclusive items like a Punk Rock outfit and an honorary "Golden Explorer" title. Those who play the game on August 26 will also receive a limited-edition Call of the Blue instrument bag from Garena.
