TFT Set 9 Asian Cup sets USD 40,000 prize pool

TFT Set 9 Asian Cup has officially begun, with the region's top players competing for a USD 40,000 prize pool. The winner will be crowned Asia's best TFT player and take home the lion's share of USD 20,000.

For the first time, the Game Changers Invitational features eight highly competitive female players from the region in the Asian Cup on August 31, 2023. On the first day of the Asian Cup, there will be four rounds of competition to determine the inaugural pan-regional champion in Asia.

The main event runs from September 1 to 3, 2023. The top 16 players advance to the second day, and the top 8 players move to the final day.

On the first day, players will be divided into groups of three and compete in six rounds each. The groups will be shuffled after every two games to ensure fairness.

The same format will be followed on the second day, and the top 8 players will advance to the final day.

On the final day, the tournament will shift to a Checkmate format. Players will battle it out until the first player to earn 18 points and win a round is declared the Asian TFT champion.
