Zenless Zone Zero - 2nd CBT Overview

HoYoverse has announced the second closed beta test, which is also referred to as the Equalizing Test, for its highly anticipated urban fantasy ARPG, Zenless Zone Zero. The game is returning with a series of changes and content updates, including new stories and explorable areas, additional playable characters, re-designed combat mechanics, and a thoroughly overhauled city with new, immersive urban gameplay.

The sign-up for Zenless Zone Zero's second limited availability beta — the Equalizing Test — starts on November 4, 2023. Register for a chance to win Test Qualification, an Insta360 camera, an Apple Watch, and more.

How to Qualify for the Zenless Zone Zero Equalizing Test

1. On the official website (https://ift.tt/9cEhHWz), click the "SIGN UP NOW" button to log into your HoYoverse account and enter your device details to complete pre-registration.
2. Complete pre-registration and the Equalizing Test sign-up survey to successfully sign up for a chance to win Equalizing Test Qualification.

Notes:

• Players only have a chance to win Test Qualification after successfully completing both pre-registration and the sign-up survey. That is, players will not be eligible to win Test Qualification upon completion of only one of the two requirements.
• This Equalizing Test is only open to users aged 16 and above. Users who fail to meet the age requirement will not be eligible to participate in the beta.
• Be sure to fill out the survey truthfully. Providing inaccurate information will result in exclusion from the test.

How You'll Be Notified

1. Once the Equalizing Test sign-up deadline ends, the Zenless Zone Zero team will notify all players who succeeded in obtaining Test Qualification by email.
2. Therefore, please make sure to enter the correct email address in pre-registration.
3. Once sign-up ends, players can check if they qualified through the Test Qualification Query Page.

In order to ensure your test experience, the Zenless Zone Zero team recommends the following device specifications. They also noted that they are currently refining compatibility with different devices. More devices will be supported in the future.

Notes

1. All content in this test (including character skills, game text, art presentation, etc.) does not represent the final quality of the game.

2. If you qualify for the test, we will send you the installation guide email corresponding to the platform you chose during sign-up. We may select an installation guide for a platform at random if you choose multiple platforms.

3. Test Qualification will be linked to the device used for your first login. Proxies can use one device each for PC, iOS, and Android. The device you use from the beginning of this test will be associated with your account. Changing devices during the test will lead to your account being banned, and no unbanning will be possible during this testing phase. Proxies are also reminded not to trust any information about test account sharing/trading, etc., to avoid any unnecessary losses.

4. Test Qualification is only valid for the current test and cannot be transferred to others. Transferring, selling, or engaging in any form of unauthorized use of the test client, test accounts, or similar actions is strictly prohibited. Any violation of these rules will result in Test Qualification being revoked.

5. Please note that for all Test Qualification-related events, only a single Test Qualification can be awarded per HoYoverse ID.

Game Overview

Zenless Zone Zero is a new urban fantasy action role-playing game (ARPG) developed by HoYoverse. The game's story is set in a post-apocalyptic world where civilization has been destroyed by a supernatural disaster called the Hollows. In this chaos, the city of New Eridu has emerged as the last hope of humanity by utilizing technology and resources to combat the Hollow disaster. As a Proxy, players will guide people through the Hollows and explore the mysteries behind New Eridu alongside their unique companions.

The game includes a standalone IP and a mixed narrative story-telling. In the latest beta, players can now experience a new story chapter that focuses on Belobog Heavy Industries, one of the major factions in the game. The upcoming beta also features immersive urban gameplay mechanics such as the Inter-Knot Proxy Network, where players can take unusual commissions or play arcade games with friends and pet animals and explore the vibrant Sixth Street.

Zenless Zone Zero has a unique art style and music design that enhances the audio-visual immersion. In the upcoming closed beta, the city of New Eridu will undergo a visual update, and the game's track list will include more modern, vibrant, and groovy music. Additionally, three new characters will join players in New Eridu, each with their unique charm and background.

The game's defining feature is its thrilling action. With improved combat animations and a brand-new Perfect Assist mechanic, the latest version of Zenless Zone Zero is more accessible to action game newcomers. At the same time, the game introduces a newly developed challenge mode called Hollow Zero, which provides a significant setting in the story and promises an exciting combat experience for veteran action game players.
