Infinix has officially launched the latest Infinix Hot 40 series in the Philippines, including Hot 40, Hot 40 Pro, and Hot 40i, featuring a big 5,000 mAh battery and Xboost gaming engine, a software feature that helps optimize the hardware during gaming sessions.

According to Infinix, the new Hot 40 series provides gamers of all budgets with an action-packed smartphone to level up their mobile entertainment experience. Further, this new series showcases significant upgrades in processor, display, camera capabilities, and software. Check out their specs, features, and official prices below.

Key Specs and Features of Infinix Hot 40 Series

The Infinix Hot 40 Pro smartphone is the most powerful among the three models, with a 6nm MediaTek Helio G99 chipset. The display measures 6.78 inches, boasts a Full HD+ resolution, supports up to 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate, providing a smooth and responsive experience.

Hot 40 Pro has a physical 8GB RAM, which can be virtually expanded up to 16GB RAM, enabling faster loading times and supporting up to 18 mobile apps to be opened simultaneously. It is coupled with 128GB or 256GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB via the dedicated micro SD slot.

Among the three variants, the Infinix Hot 40 Pro has the best main camera, featuring a 108-megapixel main camera with the HM6 sensor. To complete the triple rear camera setup, it has a 2 MP macro shooter and an AI cam, along with a Quad-LED flash on the back. It offers various modes, including Professional Portrait Mode, Sky Remap, and Dual View Video.

The front-facing camera has a 32 MP sensor and is tucked inside a punch hole, delivering outstanding group photos and selfies, even in low light, thanks to its advanced front flash. Infinix has also added a "Magic Ring" feature around the camera, which keeps users informed about face lock status, charging status, and voice calls.

Infinix Hot 40 Pro runs on XOS 13.5 interface, based on Android 13 OS. The phone is further supported by a Hard-Gyroscope sensor and Infinix's XBOOST Gaming Engine, enabling gamers to customize their gaming settings for optimal performance. It also boasts a 1200Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate, which is eight times more precise than standard screens.

Moreover, Hot 40 Pro comes with Infinix's Metamaterial Antenna, providing a faster and more reliable signal performance with a 68% increase in File Download Speed, a 6dB boost in Signal Strength, and a 36% reduction in Game Latency.

As per Infinix, the Hot 40 Pro's 5000mAh battery can charge from 20% to 75% in only 35 minutes with the 33W charger (Enduring FastCharge technology) supplied in the box. The enhanced battery is integrated with the exclusive Power Marathon solution. Additionally, the battery can endure up to 1,600 charge cycles, which is equivalent to over four years of daily charging. Further, users can enjoy up to 2 hours of calling time with Ultra Power Saving mode when the battery is at 5%.

Infinix Hot 40 Pro comes in various colors: Palm Blue, Horizon Gold, Starlit Black, and Starfall Green.

The base Infinix Hot 40 has specs that are almost similar to those of its Pro variant. It shares the same design, 5,000 mAh battery capacity with 33W fast charging, and a 6.78-inch LCD screen, except for the display, processor, and main camera.

The display of Infinix Hot 40 is limited to a 90Hz refresh rate but boasts a higher touch sampling rate of up to 270Hz.

When it comes to the processor, the Infinix Hot 40 has a 12nm MediaTek Helio G88 CPU clocked at 2.0GHz. The device's RAM is 8GB, while the onboard storage is up to 256GB (expandable via microSD).

Another notable difference is the main camera. The Infinix Hot 40 has a 50 MP f/1.6 camera, but it also has a 2 MP macro and AI camera, which are generally considered useless. Fortunately, the selfie camera is 32 MP and is once again housed inside the Magic Ring.

Infinix Hot 40 comes in the same four colorways as the Pro model – Starlit Black, Palm Blue, Horizon Gold, and Starfall Green.

Finally, the Infinix Hot 40i is the most affordable smartphone in the series, equipped with a 12nm Unisoc Tiger T606 processor, featuring an octa-core CPU with two performance cores, Cortex-A75 operating at 1.6 GHz, and six Cortex-A55 units for efficiency at 1.6 GHz. The GPU is Mali-G57 MC1, which operates at a frequency of 650 Hz.

Moreover, the display of Hot 40i is a downgrade – a 6.56-inch LCD with HD+ resolution, but at least Infinix maintained the smooth 90Hz refresh rate and introduced a responsive 180Hz touch sampling rate. Memory configuration options are 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM and 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM.

The Hot 40i has a camera island design similar to the Hot 40 and Hot 40 Pro. However, it features a dual rear camera setup composed of a 50 MP main camera and an AI camera. The 32 MP front-facing camera with the Magic Ring remains in the device. The launcher has been downgraded to XOS 13.0; however, it should still function on top of the Android 13 operating system.

Another downgrade the Infinix Hot 40i phone carried to keep a low price is the charging front – the 5,000 mAh battery is limited to 18W speeds. But still, this can be considered fast charging.

Infinix Hot 40i comes in four color options: Black, Gold, Blue, and Green.
