Zenless Zone Zero opens sign-ups for new closed beta test

Zenless Zone Zero has opened registrations for its upcoming closed beta test (CBT), featuring new content and gameplay improvements.

HoYoverse announced that the new closed beta test for its forthcoming urban fantasy ARPG is available on PC, iOS, and Android. Interested players can sign up through the official website (https://ift.tt/u3NgAiG).

The upcoming Zenless Zone Zero beta, called the "Amplifying Test," will make big changes to the combat and Hollow exploration systems to improve their flow and pacing. It will also feature a new character, a new faction, brand-new Bangboo mechanics, and the combat challenge — Shiyu Defense, among others.

Zenless Zone Zero showcases HoYoverse's latest urban fantasy IP. After the Hollows destroy society, this post-apocalyptic adventure takes place. The city of New Eridu has survived this enormous disaster and become the last bulwark of contemporary civilization. As a Proxy, players will fight unknown enemies and discover New Eridu's mysteries.

Zhu Yuan and New Eridu Public Security's Criminal Investigation Special Response Team will debut in the Amplifying Test. Moreover, the latest Bangboo models will fight using their new chain attack technique.

Players can also access the combat challenge Shiyu Defense and a number of combat missions through the upgraded Hollow Deep Dive System (HDD). With this updated method, players can jump right into challenging boss battles without having to take any extra steps.

According to HoYoverse, the upcoming closed beta test for Zenless Zone Zero is expected to bring about significant improvements to the game's overall gameplay experience compared to the previous test.

Here are some improvements that players can expect in the new Zenless Zone Zero CBT:

• Players can use the improved TV Wall (a.k.a. Hollow Board) to explore the Hollows more efficiently thanks to the latest HDD System improvement.
• Combat design is more dynamic after multiple iterations, exciting beginners and veterans, notably in Rally Missions and Hollow Zero.
• Finally, to provide its "citizens" an immersive residential experience, New Eridu offers additional urban life events and city guidance.
