Liquid Echo are MPL PH Season 13 champions

Team Liquid Echo seized their second MPL Philippines Season 13 crown after sweeping Falcons AP Bren in the grand finals on May 26, 2024.

In the best-of-seven (bo7) grand finals match between Team Liquid Echo and Falcons AP Bren, the Cavalry emerged victorious with a score of 4:0, demonstrating their superiority over the Hive.

With their MPL PH S13 win, Team Liquid Echo PH (TLPH) took home the largest share of USD 44,590 (around PHP 2.5 million) out of the tournament's massive USD 150,000 prize pool (roughly PHP 8.7 million).

Meanwhile, runners-up Falcons AP Bren (FCAP) bagged USD 31,090 (approximately PHP 1.8 million) in consolation.

On the day of the grand finals, main season awards were also bestowed. After leading the team to the summit and securing the most coveted title, Sanford "Sanford" Vinuya was named the Grand Finals MVP.

At the Events Hall in SM Southmall, over 2,500 offline spectators attended the event to show their support for their preferred teams and to form connections with the MLBB community. They participated in a variety of activities, including cosplaying, team product booths, and watch parties.

According to Esports Charts, an esports analytics partner, the 13th iteration of the MPL Philippines achieved a peak concurrent viewership (PCU) of 824,114, which was higher than that of MPL PH Season 12.

After securing the top two spots in MPL Philippines Season 13, Team Liquid ECHO PH and Falcons AP Bren will both be representing the country at the forthcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid Season Cup (MSC) 2024, which will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as part of the Esports World Cup. The prize pool for this event is an enormous USD 3 million (more than PHP 170 million).
