Mobile Legends maker Moonton and the United States Esports Federation (USEF.GG) have partnered to pick the top players to compete in upcoming IESF (International Esports Federation) tournaments.
Throughout the spring, Moonton hosted its spectacular North America Challenger Tournament (NACT) to find top teams in the United States. The fierce competition is coming up to the NACT Spring 2024 Grand Finals, which will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the Luxor Hotel & Casino on May 12, 2024.
Fans are invited to attend the Grand Finals in person or via livestream on YouTube. The high-stakes Finals will feature two of the top Mobile Legends North American squads, Gaimin Gladiators (GG) and BloodThirstyKings (BTK), all competing live and in person.
The USEF.GG Player Selection Committee will choose teams to represent the United States at the IESF Pan American Games, which will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in June 2024.
Further, the top players will be eligible to represent the United States at the IESF World Esports Championship in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which will take place in late 2024. This year's IESF WEC will have two MLBB competition brackets: one for mixed teams and one for female-only teams.
Gerald Solomon, Executive Director of USEF.GG, said:
The United States Esports Federation is thrilled to continue to partner with Moonton to provide MLBB players with international pathways for esports competition and development. The upcoming IESF tournaments present valuable opportunities for players to showcase their talent and passion for MLBB. Additionally, USEF.GG's commitment to player development will provide greater opportunities for top MLBB players and professional teams.
Todd Harris, Chair of the Board of NASEF, said:
We're thrilled to offer mobile tournament opportunities in the United States through MLBB. We look forward to offering NACT winners an invitation to represent their country playing Mobile Legends: Bang Bang at key global events. They'll receive global travel benefits, access to large prize pools, and coaching and support from USEF.GG's player development team.
For those unaware, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (or MLBB) is the world's most popular mobile Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) game, which fosters community through teamwork and strategy. Moreover, Mobile Legends Esports offers a platform for players to pursue their aspirations of becoming esports athletes while also highlighting opportunities in the international esports ecosystem. MLBB Esports has subsequently extended to several leagues, including the MPL series, which is held across Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East.
Meanwhile, the United States Esports Federation (NASEF) provides opportunities for elite esports athletes to represent the United States in international tournaments. USEF embraces NASEF's vision of developing athletes who will be game changers in the esports industry, focusing on core values such as learning, opportunity, community, diversity, and respect.
