RRQ Kaito emerged as champions in the MDL Philippines Season 3 after dethroning Echo Proud, 3-2, in the grand finals on May 12, 2024.
Prior to finals, RRQ Kaito, backed by Indonesia's RRQ Hoshi, dominated the regular season of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Development League - Philippines (MDL PH) Season 3 with a clean 9-0 record, earning them a slot straight to the semi-finals, where they swept Blacklist Academy Rough World Era (2-0).
On the other hand, two-time MDL PH champion Echo Proud, fielded by an almost entirely new roster this season, had to overcome two tough opponents, Onic Arsenals (2-0) and Omega Neos (2-0), in order to reach its third finals appearance.
RRQ Kaito's roamer Denniel Denison "xNova" Gomez was named the grand finals MVP, showing his excellent skills and performance throughout the best-of-five (Bo5) series.
With their inaugural MDL PH win, RRQ Kaito took home the largest share of USD 3,690 (around PHP 212K) out of the tournament's USD 20,000 prize pool.
Runners-up Echo Proud, on the other hand, earned USD 2,425 (roughly PHP 139K) in consolation.
