Wuthering Waves is a free-to-play action role-playing game (RPG) developed and published by the Chinese game company Kuro Games. It was released on May 23, 2024 (GMT+8) on various platforms, including Android (Google Play), iOS (Apple App Store), and PC (via Epic Games/official PC client). This gacha game with an open world has been usually compared to games like Genshin Impact.
Here's the story of Wuthering Waves. In a futuristic post-apocalyptic open world, the Lament, a mysterious catastrophe that swept the planet, has wiped out the majority of humanity and left it on the brink of extinction. Following the catastrophe, the world was invaded by unknown entities and monsters. However, humanity quickly adjusted to the threat and developed a means of coexisting with the monsters, thereby gradually reestablishing civilization.
The narrative centers on Rover, an amnesiac individual who has emerged from a profound hibernation. During the Rover's voyage, they will encounter a new world that is replete with innovative technologies and novel sights. They will also have the opportunity to explore the vast lands.
Regarding gameplay, the Rover, the protagonist, and recruited units known as Resonators, which are divided into 4-star and 5-star rarities, are under the player's control. The endgame content includes a variety of modes that allow players to employ their characters in a series of combat challenges.
Banners known as Convenes are included in the game's gacha system, which allows players to acquire Resonators and weapons. There are three categories of Convenes: novice, event, and standard. The acquisition of 5-star items within a specified number of pulls is guaranteed by a pity system.

This implies that players will receive a total of 20 draws immediately. Furthermore, Astrites can be converted into a variety of Tides, with each Tide containing 160 Astrites.
The players' name cards are known as Sigils, which enable them to customize their name cards. Shell Credits are the universal currency in the game, and Advanced Resonance Potions are utilized to level up Resonators.
All of these freebies can be claimed from the player's in-game mailbox until May 21, 2025.
