FragPunk to launch in 2025
FragPunk, a revolutionary new 5v5 hero shooter set in a vibrant, futuristic universe, was unveiled by NetEase Games at the Xbox showcase. The game features a distinctive gameplay modifier card system that provides fast-paced battles with infinite possibilities. It is being developed by Bad Guitar, a subsidiary studio of ThunderFire, one of the primary studios under NetEase. It is scheduled to be released on the Xbox Series X|S and PC in 2025.
In this free-to-play experience, players have the ability to bend the rules of combat by selecting their hero, customizing their weapon loadout, and selecting from a variety of shard cards that change every round.
FragPunk is now available for players to add to their wishlist on the Xbox, Windows Store, and Steam Store. In the near future, players will have the opportunity to participate in forthcoming tests for both Xbox and Steam.
Game Overview
In FragPunk, players will take on the role of lancers, who are genetically enhanced heroes. They will compete for the universe's most valuable resource, Glunite.
Any competent lancer is aware that the rules of engagement are subject to change at any moment due to the potent tools known as shard cards. The only players who are able to consistently adjust will emerge victorious.
FragPunk's rules are significantly altered by the extensive selection of shard cards that can be used at the start of each round. In addition to cloning technology, players will encounter frozen floors, exploding bullets, and digital footprint tracking, among other things.

And since the card selection changes every round, this creates new and unique combinations with infinite gameplay possibilities!
Frantic 5v5 Hero Shooter Action: Each round only lasts 2.5 minutes, so get a move on! This frantic match time means players have to aim true and react fast to win the fight. Choose between a varied cast of heroes with diverse abilities, customize weapon combinations, pick the best cards, and get ready for a lightning-fast fight!
Endlessly Replayable: With its varied selection of heroes, weapons, shard cards, and maps to play in, FragPunk can look forward to discovering several combinations, which will result in a fresh new experience for each new round as they develop their personal combat style.
