Free Fire x Naruto Shippuden collab announced for early 2025

Garena announced that the Free Fire x Naruto Shippuden collab is coming in early 2025, bringing the hit anime's iconic characters to the battle royale game.

Singapore-based game firm Garena confirmed the highly-anticipated collaboration with the wildly popular Japanese anime TV series just a few weeks after celebrating Free Fire's 7th anniversary.

A sneak peek at this upcoming crossover was hinted at in the Free Fire 7th anniversary Story Animation, which was released two weeks ago. You can watch the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ah4GkT7VIGI.

In the video, eagle-eyed viewers noticed a kunai hanging on an orange bag. Despite the fact that it is a brief segment of the video, it sparked speculation among some fans regarding the possibility of a Naruto collaboration. Indeed, the kunai (a black dagger usually kept in a shinobi's weapon pouch) and the bag's color scheme are both evident references to Naruto.

With that, Garena Free Fire officially revealed that a collab with the famous anime series is under development, and it is scheduled to start in early 2025.

During the collaboration event, players can expect to see some of Naruto's renowned characters as well as battle on a special map adorned with Naruto-related elements.

In the meantime, fans and players can enjoy the other in-game events that Free Fire has prepared for the second half of 2024. The 7th Anniversary celebrations are currently underway and will end on July 14. Players just need to log in and claim their anniversary rewards, which are only available for a limited time.

To recall, Free Fire has done several crossovers with different prominent titles, including Demon Slayer, Devil May Cry, Assassin's Creed, Venom, Money Heist, Street Fighter V, and McLaren Racing, as well as famous personalities, such as Justin Bieber and K-pop group BTS, which brought various in-game items like skins and emotes.

On the other hand, Free Fire players can also anticipate an anime adaptation of the battle royale game. In May 2024, Garena and Japanese media firm Kadokawa announced that the Free Fire anime is in the works.
