Gamerpact Esports are realme Mobile Legends Cup S8 champions

Gamerpact Esports crowned realme Mobile Legends Cup Season 8 champions after defeating Minerva Esports 3-1 in the grand finals. The realme GT 6-powered tournament was held at Glorietta 4 Activity Center on July 20, 2024.

The finals were a showcase for ability and strategy, with Minerva Esports gaining an early lead by winning Game 1.

However, Gamerpact Esports showed resilience and perseverance by securing victories through strategic use of defensive items, which not only helped them survive incoming damage but also allowed them to maintain an aggressive pace in the next three games and win the series by a 3-1 score.

With their win, Gamerpact Esports earned the grand prize of PHP 500,000 and a realme GT 6 phone for each team member.

Meanwhile, Minerva Esports settled for a second-place finish, taking home PHP 200,000 in consolation and a realme 12 Pro+ 5G phone for each player.

Aezu of Gamerpact Esports, who demonstrated an outstanding performance throughout the series, was named the finals' Most Valuable Player (MVP), earning him an additional cash prize of PHP 100,000.

To add to the excitement, the RMC S8 Grand Finals featured an exciting show match between the MLBB M5 World Champions and MSC 2024 Grand Finalists, Falcons AP Bren, and pro esports players Ch4knu, H2WO, Benthings, Oheb, and Wise. This exciting battle featured various power-ups provided by community members who participated in the RMC Season 8 Squad Nights, keeping spectators engaged and amused.

The event ended on a high note with a live performance by the legendary artist Al James, whose music infused the rest of the evening with excitement and celebration.
