Level Infinite has revealed the details for the upcoming Honor of Kings Invitational Midseason, 2024 Esports World Cup (EWC), set to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from August 1 to 4. Twelve (12) professional esports teams will compete for the lion's share of the USD 3 million prize pool and the title of the best HOK team.

In celebration of this momentous occasion, Honor of Kings (HOK) has introduced an exclusive Esports World Cup skin, Heavenblade, for the beloved dual-sword-wielding hero, Allain.
In addition to the new skin, HOK is releasing the theme song for Honor of Kings Esports, "Invincible." The song was produced by Grammy-award-nominated producer Mighty Mike and mixed by Grammy-award-winning audio mixer Tom Norris.
Game Format
There will be a single round-robin format at the HOK Invitational Midseason 2024, with teams being divided into two groups.
The group standings will be determined by the participants' performance in best-of-one (Bo1) matches. The top four teams from each group will advance to the knockout stages. Beginning on August 3, 2024, the quarterfinals will consist of a best-of-three (Bo3) series, while the semifinals and finals will be played in a best-of-five (Bo5) series.

The SEA Showdown match, which will take place at 3 PM on July 30, 2024 (UTC+3), will determine the final team from Southeast Asia. Rex Regum Qeon of Indonesia and BOOM Esports of the Philippines will compete to earn a spot in the HOK Invitational Midseason. The match will be broadcast on EN/ID/AR/FL languages on the following platforms: Facebook, Twitch, TikTok, YouTube, and Honor of Kings in-game TV.
Earn in-game rewards during HOK Invitational Midseason 2024
Players can earn event currency by participating in matches, spectating matches, or logging in during the period of July 26 to August 4.
Spend the currency to turn the 12 squares that represent the 12 squads and claim rewards when flipping the 3rd, 6th, 9th, and 12th squares.
To be eligible for the lucky draw, flip all the squares and have the opportunity to win the Esports World Cup-exclusive Allain skin, Trail, Recall, Finisher, or Diamonds x20.
The missions will be refreshed daily at 05:00 (UTC+0). Rewards will be delivered via in-game Mail within 24 hours, and unclaimed currencies will not be carried over to the following day.
New Theme Song
On July 29, 2024, the HOK Invitational Midseason will introduce a new theme song. The song is a fusion of hip-hop and electronic music that demonstrates the fervor for competitive esports.
An innovative editing technique will be employed to present a unique artistic representation of Saudi Arabia in a dedicated music video for this song, which will be released on July 31, 2024. This video will provide an exceptional auditory and visual musical experience for fans of Honor of Kings.
