All-Filipino team BOOM Esports are the final Southeast Asian (SEA) representatives to the Honor of Kings (HOK) Invitational Midseason, 2024 Riyadh.

The Pinoy team's aggressive gameplay with the Dolia-Fang combo and ability to respond under pressure allowed them to sweep the match 3-0.
Miguel "Miggie" Klarenz Banaag said:
We didn't expect to win, and it's a great honor to be part of the Esport World Cup. The team has been preparing for five months, and we're ready to face the world!
With their win in the SEA showdown (the qualifier tournament), Dragon, Toshi, Impressive, Miggie, Arise, and Ajiizix will be participating in the upcoming Group Stage from August 1 to vie for the lion's share of USD 3 million (roughly PHP 175 million) in Group B.
They will compete for the coveted title alongside other Southeast Asian representatives, including LGD Gaming (Malaysia), Kagendra (Indonesia), Team Secret (Malaysia), Impunity Esports (Myanmar), and Weibo Gaming (Malaysia).
BOOM Esports will first face off against Loops (BR) on August 1 at 12:40 PM (UTC+3).
