Here are all the new content updates coming to Once Human in August and September 2024, as announced by NetEase Games.

But before we delve into the details of the updates, here's a quick recap:
- Updates on August 15 include the new Animal Capture & Ranching Gameplay, "The Living Plane" takes to the skies, new in-game events and features, and a blazing motorcycle skin.
- Once Human revealed details about the new September PvP scenario and its appearance at Gamescom 2024.
- Since the game launched on July 9, 2024, it has peaked at over 230k concurrent players and reached #5 on Steam's player count chart.
Now, here are the updates planned to be released in August and September 2024 by Once Human developers.
Animal Capture and Ranching Gameplay Update
On August 15, 2024, Once Human released the Animal Capture and Ranching update. This enables players to create and maintain farms, which offer a variety of benefits for their settlements.
In order to replenish your farm, it is necessary to capture wild animals, including those that were previously domesticated and released during the tragedy. Beasts such as deer, wolves, sheep, and wild boars can be captured by players. These creatures can be brought into your settlement and will be integrated into your mini-society.
After being tamed, the animals can provide you with resources, including meat and fur. The more aggressive animals can battle Deviants and oppose enemy invasions with you. In September 2024, a massive animal gameplay update will enable players to breed rare beasts.
Once Human's animal husbandry lets players enhance their territory with crop planting and fishing, enabling them to build farms that can thrive in a world full of aberrant monsters.
Ancient One
Players have already faced The Ancient One, also known as "The Living Plane," a colossal flying creature.
Further, players can ride this majestic beast and fly through the air to partake in special shooting challenges and get exclusive rewards in the August 15 update.
Open World Racing events
Players will compete in the "Open World Racing" event by building and driving customized land vehicles in the wild. Notably, these races are points-based challenges.
You can get additional points by taking unique routes to become the server's top scorer in these races.
Deviant Card Collection
In the "Deviant Card Collection" event, players fight hazardous Deviants to earn cards.
To grow your collection, trade cards with other players. Taking part and collecting a large collection will earn you rare rewards if you risk defeating a powerful monster for its card.
First Motorcycle Skin: Pyro Glide
This skin is the first in Once Human, and it allows players to race in style. With this skin, the player's motorcycle will roar as its wheels burn the ground.
At present, only the paid Lucky Roulette campaign offers the Pyro Glide skin.
New PvP: Prismverse's Clash
This second large-scale PvP scenario will launch in September 2024. The first new scenario since the game was released will include the most exciting PvP battles ever.
Prismverse's Clash requires players to join Rosetta or Mayfly. After choosing sides, they'll combat camp anomalies for Prism Energy. The team with the most energy wins, so competition will be fierce.
Once Human at Gamescom 2024
NetEase Games is excited to announce that Once Human will be featured at Gamescom 2024, where visitors can challenge a special dungeon to win limited gifts.
Gamescom 2024 attendees can see the new Once Human content in Hall 6, A-050, from August 21 to 25.
At the event, the development team will release details regarding the Prismverse's Clash scenario, which will launch in September, and the large-scale snow-covered PvE scenario, which will arrive in October.
