PH MLBB teams Fnatic Onic, Aurora all set for M6 Worlds

Filipino Mobile Legends teams Fnatic Onic and Aurora will aim for the country's fifth consecutive M-Series title at the M6 World Championship.

The mobile MOBA game's biggest tournament in 2024 will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from November 28 to December 5 for its Swiss Stage and December 7 to 15 for its Knockout Stage.

The M6 World Championship, which is themed "Greater Than Ever," will feature 16 international teams competing for the title and the largest portion of the increased prize pool, which is valued at USD 1 million (around PHP 58 million).

Philippines representatives Fnatic ONIC PH (FNOP) and Aurora MLBB (RORA), who are first and second placers of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Professional League (MPL) - PH Season 14, are all set to defend the crown last won by AP Bren during M5 World Championship.

Moreover, the league is preparing a series of activities to celebrate the Mobile Legends community's passion and devotion as they support the Filipino squads in accordance with this year's official battle cry, #PinasPinakamalakas.

Road to M6 Community Tournament

In order to invigorate the local MLBB community, a Road to M6 Community Tournament was launched. This tournament will provide Filipino fans with the opportunity to compete and win an all-expenses-paid journey to the M6 Grand Finals Day in Malaysia. This tournament offers a thrilling opportunity for fans to evaluate their abilities and experience the excitement of MLBB competition firsthand.

Road to M6 Community Tournament

The Road to M6 Community Tournament is designed with an engaging format that guarantees intense matchups throughout its stages. The format is as follows:
  • Qualifiers (November 20 to 23, 2024): Single elimination with best-of-1 (Bo1) matches, with the top four (4) teams from each day advancing to the Group Stage, resulting in 16 teams.
  • Group Stage (November 25 to 28, 2024): Four groups in a single round-robin format, with the top two (2) teams from each group moving to the Playoffs.
  • Playoffs (November 29 to 30, 2024): Single elimination, featuring best-of-1 (Bo1) Quarterfinals, best-of-3 (Bo3) Semifinals, and a best-of-5 (Bo5) Grand Final to crown the champion.
