Free Fire Winterlands Aurora Event: Koda, Skins, Rewards

Garena Free Fire has released its annual Winterlands festival, featuring the Aurora event in December 2024. This new campaign brings a new character, Koda, themed skins, free rewards, Frosty Track, and Festive Clock Tower. Check out more details below.

Winterlands: Aurora Event Overview

This holiday season, Free Fire fans and players can expect a new character, Koda, legendary outfits, the Festive Clock Tower, shooting-capable Frosty Tracks, and Bermuda's stunning aurora. By completing in-game missions, players can acquire aurora-themed weapons and accessory skins, such as an AWM skin, a Skyboard, a Monster Truck, and more.

This festival lets players experience Free Fire's first aurora. Players may experience a magnificent frozen paradise in the Bermuda map with the patch update's aurora-filled terrain and Aurora Forecast weather gameplay. This new system forecasts in-game weather, giving players buffs for a better experience.

New Character: Koda

Koda's Aurora Vision (signature ability) gives him a unique advantage in enemy detection and movement in Free Fire. Born in an arctic region with superior technology, Koda's skills stem from his unique background. He found a magical fox mask while pursuing a snow fox under an aurora as a child. The mask improved his senses and agility, creating a strong link with snow foxes, which represent Koda's speed and focus.

Skills

  • Aurora Vision: Increases his movement speed and reveals enemies behind cover, excluding those who are crouching or prone.
  • Bonus Effect: Highlights enemy locations within view while he is parachuting; the effect does not extend to teammates.

Frosty Track

The snow-covered Bermuda map can be explored quickly and dynamically in Battle Royale (BR) and Clash Squad (CS) modes with Frosty Tracks.

Free Fire - Frosty Track and Festive Clock Tower

Frosty Tracks in Bermuda's Festival Clock Tower and Factory let players move quickly while firing, turning, accelerating, decelerating, and employing throwables in BR mode. Special Coin Machines throughout the tracks provide players 100 FF Coins to acquire while gliding.

In CS mode, Frosty Tracks in Bermuda's Katulistiwa, Mill, and Hangar offer the same thrilling gameplay. They provide strategy and speed, but their placements vary between modes.

Further, both modes have random Aurora Events. To advance in Battle Royale and Clash Squad, players can interact with aurora-affected Coin Machines and Supply Gadgets, respectively. To complete the event quest, interact with these aurora-affected items to buff all teammates.

Play Winterlands: Aurora Event With Friends

Free Fire introduced an interactive mechanic during the event. The event's special interface displays the avatars of players' friends as cute snowballs that slide alongside them when they form a team with friends.
