Better get ready, Filipino fraggers! FragPunk, the most exciting rule-breaking free-to-play 5V5 hero shooter, is now available worldwide, including in the Philippines, as announced by NetEase Games and Bad Guitar Studio. A revolutionary Shard Card system lets players rewrite battle rules in frantic tactical combat.
If you're using a PC, you can download FragPunk on Steam and Epic Games Store. It will also soon arrive on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 (PS5) platforms.
Season 1 is now live, with all Shard Cards free to play from launch and beyond. The developer has also announced a global Shard Card design contest for gamers to express their ideas. More details below.
Season 1: Wild Dawn
FragPunk's first season, Wild Dawn, lasts four months and has two two-month chapters. Starting with 13 Lancers, 150 Shard Cards, 7 Shard Clash Maps, and various competitive or chaotic game modes.
The beginning of each chapter will bring new Lancers and Shard Cards, maybe with thrilling new game modes, and each season will bring a new map to enhance players' gaming experience.
Rewards and Battle Passes Giveaway Event
FragPunk is offering free in-game currency, sticker packs, charms, and Blue-and-White Porcelain skins for all twenty weapons inspired by ancient decorative traditions to celebrate the global launch. Join the game now to get over 130 free rewards.

Chaotic New Shard Cards Were Unveiled
FragPunk's launch version will have over 150 Shard Cards to break battlefield rules, 80 of which were never displayed in tests.
With top FPS influencers and players, including TenZ, Shroud, and iiTzTimmy, FragPunk presented numerous intriguing Shard Cards.
Here are some of the new Shard Cards, along with their description.
- Dullahans: Allied heads become invulnerable flames. (Shard Points: 5)
- Infernal Hounds: Each ally gets a fiery hound that follows you, attacking nearby enemies. (Shard Points: 5)
- Leader of the Dead: Spend your own HP to generate a bio-warrior. (Shard Points: 5)
New Lancer and Map
The first season of FragPunk contains 13 varied Lancers with different skills, personalities, and outrageous language to fit your taste. A new lancer will join the roster for Season 1.
Chum is a sentient, stone-carved robot who loves fish. He and his best friend, Chomper, a stone fish he made, disrupt opposing formations by turning Chomper into explosives or smoke bombs, changing the battlefield.
FragPunk maps immerse players in a dynamic multiverse with a variety of environments. At debut, the game has 10+ maps, 7 of which are maps for the Shard Clash (the main competitive game mode).
A new battlefield map, Dongtian, takes place amid a floating mountain palace. Dongtian, inspired by oriental landscapes and architecture, has stunning natural scenery, sky-rocketing sculptures, and innovative dynamics that can vary the map layout to challenge players.
Shard Card Design Contest
"FragPunk Card War: Craft Your Signature Card!" is an ambitious user-generated content campaign to celebrate the game's launch. Players worldwide are encouraged to develop Shard Cards, with the best being included in the game. Participants can create and submit concepts from March 7 to June 7, 2025. The FragPunk development team and player community will evaluate submissions and vote on winners.
The best five designers will earn USD 2,025 cash and have their idea turned into a game card with their signature.
On the other hand, prior to the game's launch, a closed beta test (CBT) was held. FragPunk Pioneer Bundles were also offered.
