Genshin Impact Version 5.5 Update Overview
New Volcanic Area on Natlan
In southwestern Natlan, players will meet the Collective of Plenty tribe and explore the Great Volcano of Tollan, where they can begin their quest for the sacred city.
The Great Volcano of Tollan, long revered as a sacred mountain, now embraces all players who dare to brave its fiery depths, where traces of its rich, layered history lie hidden and a Dragonborn-built sacred city sleeps, slowly roused by magma. Players can access the Sacred City of Tollan using a special means and investigate the "Flamelord's Blessing" and their Little One's mystery.
Players meet the Collective of Plenty tribe on the sacred mountain trail. The members are fitness enthusiasts and enjoy friendly competitions. Fertile volcanic soil gives the tribe's crop luscious, juicy fruits. Though mostly silent, the volcano can occasionally erupt and spew rocks. Players can change into the Tatankasaurus, a Saurian from the Collective of Plenty that can crush through Pulverite and short run across water or liquid Phlogiston.
Two New Electro Characters
Varesa, a 5-star Electro Catalyst user, activates Fiery Passion with Plunging Attacks. She delivers more Electro DMG and can use a special Elemental Burst with decreased Energy cost in this state. Varesa can invoke her Elemental Skill and use Normal Attacks to perform fast Plunging Attacks to enter this state. Her unique talent also restores Phlogiston after the party eats food. She is only fierce in battle and lives a rather laid-back life, as her Tribal Chronicle shows.
Iansan is Varesa's coach and one of Natlan's six heroes with a 4-star Electro Polearm. She heals her companions and buffs the on-field character's ATK, supporting the group. Her Elemental Burst boosts the on-field character's ATK even when she's off-field, and her ATK buff scales with her allies' distance. Iansan also gets the Warming Up effect when her allies trigger a Nightsoul Burst, letting her temporarily recover HP to the on-field character.

Further, Version 5.5 brings new challenges and system optimizations. The volcano's geothermal fissures contain the Lava Dragon Statue, a new boss. As for optimizations, upgrading Artifacts specified with Sanctifying Elixirs guarantees at least two Minor Affix upgrades, improving Artifact leveling.
I just want to reiterate that Genshin Impact Version 5.5 will launch on March 26, 2025, in the Philippines for PS5, PS4, Xbox, PC, iOS, and Android platforms.
