Ragnarok Landverse Genesis will be having its Closed Beta Test 2 (CBT 2) from March 17 to 23, 2025, Maxion announced. The core features of the new NFT MMORPG were also revealed.
CBT 2 is coming
Ragnarok Landverse (ROL) Genesis is a Web3 version of the classic Ragnarok Online game. It is a collaboration between GRAVITY, which owns the Ragnarok Online franchise, and partners MAXION, SKY MAVIS, and ZENTRY.
This new version aims to bring back the popular MMORPG experience with features like collectible NFTs and Play-To-Earn (P2E) elements within the RONIN ecosystem.
To recall, MAXION launched Ragnarok Landverse in September 2023 on the PC platform worldwide, including the Philippines. Moving to Ronin will improve the game's scalability and security. Players can expect a smooth, immersive experience connecting them to decentralized gaming.
Maxion said ROL Genesis Closed Beta 2 offers a "more polished game build, web3 features, and access to a wider decentralized economy."
Participants can anticipate a range of events and free rewards exclusive to this CBT2. Note that during this stage, all characters created and freebies received by players will deleted after it ends.
Further, the marketplace will be opened. There will be a pre-sales campaign with several package deals, including a premium random box. Also, watch out for the launch of its airdrop app.
