Zenless Zone Zero developer HoYoverse stated that Version 1.6, Among the Forgotten Ruins, will release on March 12, 2025, revealing New Eridu's military factions' hidden past and Sacrifice's mysteries.
The upcoming ZZZ Version 1.6 will have a unique auction for Sacrifice relics. In addition to the main story update, new agents will debut: Soldier 0 - Anby (S-Rank, Electric, Attack), Trigger (S-Rank, Electric, Stun), and Pulchra Fellini (A-Rank, Physical, Stun).
The quest in New Eridu continues with new enemies like Geppetto in Hollow Zero and in-game events with rewards like A-level agent Pulchra Fellini.

New Chapter
Proxies are determined to secure an auction for a Sacrifice item that has sparked faction conflict. In the intrigue, Hugo and Vivian appear to be purposefully edging closer to the Proxies, obscuring the line between allies and enemies. Players will learn about Anby's life before the Cunning Hares and New Eridu's military outside the main story.
New Characters
Soldier 0 - Anby Demara was the Silver Squad's former leader. She is an S-Rank Electric Attack Agent with dual swords that unleash electric damage quickly. Her attack causes Aftershock and boosts teammates' CRIT DMG against the same enemy.
Alongside Anby, the new S-Rank character Trigger, an Obol Squad ace sharpshooter and Electric Stun Agent, will join the roster. Trigger can dodge enemy attacks and ask for a Quick Assist in Sniper Mode. Her attack boosts Aftershock damage and allies' damage on the same target with Purge.
The latest update also brings back Pulchra Fellini as an A-Rank Physical Stun Agent for the Sons of Calydon.

- Burnice: An S-Rank Fire Anomaly agent, returning for her first rerun since her debut in Version 1.2.

- Zhu Yuan: An S-Rank Ether Attack agent, returning for her first rerun since her debut in Version 1.0.
- Rate-Up A-Rank Characters:
- Lucy: An A-Rank Fire Support agent, boosted in this phase.
- Billy: An A-Rank Physical Attack agent, also boosted.
More Updates and Events
In the version 1.6 major update, Zenless Zone Zero players will face the new boss, Geppetto, in Hollow Zero and unlock Difficulty VI in Battlefront Purge.
Further, the update features the Hollow Zero Shadow Operation, where damage increases with accumulated coins.
A new third-person shooter mode will also be introduced in Trigger's TV Schedule for sniper missions. Players can complete challenges as a Bangboo drone in "March On, Tiny Titan" or help a Bangboo with 10 trials in "Little Knight's Big Charge" to earn exclusive rewards, including the playable A-Rank agent Pulchra.
