On July 16, 2025, Zenless Zone Zero's Version 2.1 will bring two new agents, Alice and Yuzuha, announced HoYoverse. The summer-themed update, "The Impending Crash of Waves," will also spotlight the new Spook Shack faction and introduce two new areas, including Sailume Bay and Fantasy Resort. As the end of Version 2.0 approaches, ZZZero players are certainly excited about the new content, events, and optimizations in the upcoming patch.
Version 2.1 Overview
Discover Sailume Bay and Fantasy Resort, two fascinating new additions. Chapter 2's story will take place in Sailume Bay beneath Failume Heights' cliffs. To overcome conflicts generated by Exaltist turmoil, Porcelumex will initiate a full safety investigation.
The prominent investigating team includes Alice Thymefield, a descendant of the renowned Thymefield family, who will join the Spook Shack. Fantasy Resort has coconut trees swaying in the breeze, sandy beaches, and a lively holiday ambiance suited for summer activities and captivating stories.
Two new agents will join the Zenless Zone Zero roster for the Version 2.1 update.
Ukinami Yuzuha, a smart S-Rank Physical Support Agent, uses her tanuki companion Kama to launch candy bombs at opponents, helping on-field attackers gather Anomaly Buildup. Her Sweet Scare ability uses Flavor Match to increase Anomaly Buildup efficiency and trigger Aftershock attacks by adapting to the active agent.
Alice Thymefield, an S-Rank Physical Anomaly Agent, is the new Spook Shack member. Her excellent swordsmanship helps her move on the battlefield and gain Blade Etiquette as a noble heiress. Blade Etiquette lets Alice unleash devastating attacks that boost Assault and Disorder damage.
Miss Esme, an elegant S-Rank Bangboo, soars with agents, replenishing Energy or HP.
Moreover, S-Rank agents, the Void Hunter Miyabi (Frost Anomaly) and Yanagi (Electric Anomaly), will return to the ZZZ Version 2.1 banners.
Players will collaborate with the Spook Shack to restore the Fantasy Resort through aquatic activities and attractions. Surf with power-ups or board yachts for sea shooting challenges on gorgeous island tours. The seasoned anglers will find new fishing sites with new species and optimized interactions with decreased grinding for a calmer but diverse gaming experience. Along with summer activities, Yuzuha, Alice, and the protagonists will have summer-themed outfits.
"En-Nah" Chess Legend, a new Bangboo Auto Battler event, has a PVP mode. Meanwhile, a new score system will reward combat technique mastery for challenging battle enthusiasts in the Simulated Battle Trial.
