Honkai Star Rail Version 3.5 Update Overview
In the previous chapter, players pledged to Phainon and became Deliverers. Phainon scorched Nanook, stopping Irontomb's progress again. The adventure continues; recovering Amphoreus is no easy feat. Players will travel back a thousand years to Okhema with Cyrene in the new Trailblaze Mission. Aglaea's predecessor, Imperator Cerydra, the Law Coreflame bearer, ruled Okhema at this time.
HSR Version 3.5 debuts two powerful new characters, Hysilens and Imperator Cerydra.
Hysilens, a 5-star Physical-Type character (Path of Nihility), commands the holy city's knights. She works well with DoT (Damage-over-Time) characters. Hysilens constructs a Zone with her Ultimate. Her DoT will increase with each enemy DoT while the Zone is active. All enemies' ATK and DEF will decrease. Her Basic ATK, Skill, and Ultimate can also apply random DoTs. The team's DMG output increases as her Skill raises the DMG opponents take.
Cerydra is a 5-star Wind-Type character (Path of Harmony). A Law Coreflame holder, she started the first Flame-Chase Journey. She is a chess-trained strategist who excels in long-term planning and command. Her Skill gives an ally "Military Merit," an upgradable buff that boosts ATK and DMG in combat. Military Merit rises during battle. Skills improve CRIT DMG and All-Type RES PEN for the afflicted ally, and they can replicate their effects to boost the team's DMG output. All enemies receive DMG from her Ultimate, and she gains Charge, supporting the team.
In Honkai Star Rail Version 3.5 Warp Event, the limited 5-star characters Stellaron Hunter Kafka and Silver Wolf will have their rerun in the first and second phases of the banners, respectively. Their formidable support makes them crucial companions for the players' future journeys.
A new map in Version 3.5 showed players Styxia, the City of Infinite Revelry. The story will turn when players fight Lygus, an opponent who changes forms. His true identity and goals may emerge as the battle escalates.
Moreover, Honkai Star Rail players will enjoy several entertaining events in Version 3.5. Operate a restaurant in Aedes Elysiae with the Chrysos Heirs in the "Chrysos Maze Grand Restaurant" event. As a "Restaurant Manager," you'll feed the Membrance Maze fairies and fix up the rundown venue to win their favor. In the "Old Brews & New Friends" event, players will reprise their role as a guest drinksmith at the "Dreamjolt Hostelry," blending drinks and reuniting with old friends for heartwarming moments.
Further, Version 3.5 added a collaboration character voice toggle. Players can switch between the in-game dub and licensed voice actors for interaction, battle, and idle lines, creating a more immersive experience.
