Funcom just unveiled new adventures and wonders on Arrakis. Dune Awakening, a thrilling open-world survival game, got its first free major update and Lost Harvest paid DLC (downloadable content).
In the Dune Awakening Free Weekend, the enormous deserts of Arrakis are available to everybody from September 11 to 15, 2025. From September 11 to 22, Steam and third-party stores are offering 20% off the game for the very first time.
Chapter 2 Free Update Arrives
After the revelations at the conclusion of Act 3, the journey continues in Chapter 2.
Examine bizarre cases and explore the past from afar. Customize your character once more. Find new contracts, character hairstyles and tattoos, items, and dynamic encounters that infuse the ever-changing deserts of Dune with new vitality.
Lost Harvest Paid DLC Now Available
For USD 12.99, the Lost Harvest DLC includes a complete independent storyline. Explore Dune's lore and you may be appalled. New Dune Man building pieces, decorations, cosmetic armor sets, weapons, swatches, and the Thumper emote are included in the DLC.
Further, the treadwheel vehicle is a sandbike alternative. It has distinct animations and handling, but no gameplay advantage over the original game.
20% Discount and Free Weekend
The Dune Awakening Free Weekend runs from September 11 to 15, 2025. Play on any server with friends who also own the game and experience everything, including the Chapter 2 update, without limits and with all progress saved. From September 11 to 22, Steam and third-party stores will offer the game's first 20% discount.
Dune: Awakening Chapter 2 is free, whereas the Lost Harvest DLC costs USD 12.99 or the Season Pass (USD 24.99). Two more DLCs will add new areas, stories, and more to the Season Pass.
