Magic Chess: Go Go Season 4 has launched. Developer Moonton Games also teamed up with The King of Fighters (KOF) for the first time. The fighter universe comes to the auto-battler game with two new synergies, eight commander skins, and a KOF-themed chessboard skin in this milestone collaboration.

Further, the Promo Diamonds event and new game modes are now available. Destined Duel, a new retro arcade-style mini game, rewards winners with draw tokens for limited-time rewards.
MCGG S4 will also feature MCGG Rising Stars (MRS) Season 4, a GO1 World Championship qualifier.
MCGG Season 4 - Update Overview
MCGG's first collab is with KOF, the famous fighting game franchise that has fueled generations of gamers. Eight new KOF-themed commander skins include:

Expect a #FightersReborn when the collab event unveils two new synergies, KOF and Mortal Rivals, and a limited-time chessboard skin.
Further, the Destined Duel event offers KOF Deploy Effects, the Johnson "Death Chariot" skin, and up to 70 Leona Draw Tokens. It immerses players in KOF's iconic fighting spirit with a throwback arcade UI.
Players can also take advantage of Promo Diamonds to get big discounts on items in-game. Events, log-ins, and more let players collect commanders and chessboard skins to improve their battlefield experience.
Moreover, the new Commander Power Cards add battlefield strategy. Each commander has unique powers, allowing you to create devastating combos. Choose your Commander's Power Card. Or use other Commanders' power for an advantage. Picking the proper cards at the right time can change the game.
Enter the new Arena Mode, where you have limitless preparation time to construct your best lineup. Strategize, position commanders, and unleash effective combinations to win the match. The Arena Mode's exclusive ranking system is based on Arena Trophies. Win several rounds, climb the leaderboard, and prove you're the best fighter.
The rounds automatically level up Commanders and give you random Go Go Cards and Equipment to boost their forces. The Arena Shop sells game-changing items to help you win matches. Before each duel, use the high-stakes Betting Mechanism to double your trophies for huge rewards, but one mistake might cost you.
MRS Season 4: Direct Path to GO1
MCGG Rising Stars returns in Season 4 with 14 direct slots to GO1. MCGG's largest global tournament will debut in Jakarta, Indonesia, in January 2026 alongside the M7 World Championship (M7). As part of the M7 Carnival, Magic Chess Go Go will join Mobile Legends in turning Indonesia into a worldwide athletic platform, connecting elite teams, players, and fans from across the world in a celebration of esports.
MCGG internationalizes inclusive esports by empowering all participants to become champions. The mobile auto chess game will debut at the 33rd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Bangkok, Thailand. The MCGG demo match will launch on December 12, 2025, with a #BattleofWits, giving players the chance to test their strategies, outwit their opponents, and prove anyone can become a champion.
