The Version 5.5 "Starfall Burst" update of Tower of Fantasy (ToF) on mobile, PC, and PlayStation (PS4, PS5) platforms brings the much-awaited "Warp Server."
New systems and progression mechanics were added to the new MMO server. To fulfill players' expectations for pure MMO gameplay, the pay-to-win (P2W) gacha system was removed.
Warp Server - No Gacha
The new "Warp Server" completely changes the cultivation and game systems. It works separately from the current official servers to provide a true MMORPG experience and a friendlier environment for new players.
No More Gacha Mechanics
You can now get Simulacrum and weapons for free. H, Mi-a's Outfits, Limited Mounts, Player Outfits, Chat Sets, Personal Cards, and Accessories are available through events and daily gameplay. Daily weapon giveaway and pro teambuilds for newbies on Day 1. In just one month, it is possible to collect all weapons.
Season System
Seasons will change regularly, introducing new ways to progress and play. Earn exclusive rewards, including titles and appearances, with each new season. There will be no more damage types, making things less stressful regarding stats. Equipment stats will remain consistent throughout the season for better balance.
Revamped In-game Purchase
New features like the Trade System and the new currency, Dark Crystals, let players trade appearances and resources freely.
New Social Mechanics
The Crew Base is a place where players can trade shards and join in social activities. It gives everyone, both new and experienced players, a chance to connect and make friends in a cozy area.
Beginner-Friendly
Veteran ToF players are available to help in the Global Channel, so new players can get support whenever they need it. The New Crew GVE Events will also help newbies catch up and settle into the game smoothly.
Highlights of Version 5.5 "Starfall Burst" Update
New Simulacrum: Veronika
Veronika and the Volt Weapon "Visios" are available in a limited-time gacha event starting November 25 until December 29, 2025. The "Kneel Before" event is also available for a short time.
Limited-Time Event: Kailo Night Fever
The new "Kailo Night Fever" event has begun on November 25. In the "Spectral Tour" event, up to 8 players can join, with one randomly picked as the Specter. Other players earn points by trying to catch the Specter, and both must keep moving to avoid elimination. Random buff items will appear on the map, and rankings will be based on points earned, with corresponding rewards issued.
