The all-new Version 4.0 of Honkai: Star Rail, titled "No Aha at Full Moon," is scheduled for release on February 13, 2026, featuring two new 5-star characters, Sparxie and Yao Guang.
Moreover, HoYoverse announced an Epic Games-exclusive Honkai Star Rail collaboration. Kafka and Blade, two Stellaron Hunters from Honkai Star Rail, will join Fortnite on February 26, bringing their distinctive character flair and fighting powers to Fortnite players worldwide.

Honkai Star Rail Version 4.0 Update Overview
According to legend, "Planarcadia" was previously a flat "World in Canvas," but shortly after the IPC gained control, it awoke, revived and became a bustling hub. Madam Pearl, member of the Strategic Investment Department's "Ten Stonehearts," will host the Express Crew. Planarcadia is Navigator Himeko's hometown, and where the Astral Express was relaunched fifteen years ago. As the Express returns to paradise, a successful comic based on the Express Crew is published, putting everyone in the spotlight.
After chatting with the IPC, players will enter "Duomension City" and see its distinctive "imagenae". These species have long coexisted with locals in the city's daily existence. The station commander "Meowton," the train-looking "Bullet Wyrm," the "thundercoil" above Duomension City, and Mr. Yang's cherished "mechatron" are all essential aspects of the city. However, imagenae may not exist. They survive on "Wishpower" and only last as long as they're noticed. Once forgotten, they fade away. Because of this, Duomension City has entertainment on every street and alley, and laughter never stops. City entrances are likewise mysterious. Players can enter a magical Duomension world and explore another part of this arcadia or be led to unexpected places like Dovebrook's brightly lit commercial district, Himeko's alma mater and acclaimed art school, "Graphia Academy," or the Masked Fools' Tavern of Elation. This place is rumored to be hidden in Dovebrook.
Most residents of this rowdy amusement park are Elation worshipers. Even disputes are disguised as games to settle. The "Phantasmoon Games," among the Express Crew's main goals for this voyage, is the most spectacular and wild entertainment. The Laughter reportedly invented this game. The winner gets to meet THEM and become an Aeon for a minute. The Phantasmoon Games are unstructured. Only those who get the greatest attention are judged. Any strategy that's spectacular works. Only eight masks are available, and all participants use them as tickets. The games are approaching, so factions have secretly assembled. After each other, the Astral Express, Masked Fools, IPC, and Xianzhou Alliance intervened. Furthermore, the Stellaron Hunters have arrived; Silver Wolf and Blade have started their operations.
Even Combat is watched by The Laughter in Planarcadia. Add characters on the Path of "Elation" to the team or defeat particular foes to get "Punchlines." THEY will personally start an "Aha Instant." When punchlines build, Aha's curiosity soars. Aha will command the team's "Elation" characters to use Elation Skills during this phase. Punchline accumulation boosts ability effects. All Path of Elation characters will receive "Certified Banger" boosts after the "Aha Instant" to enhance combat tactics.
Players will get two powerful 5-star characters in HSR V4.0, Yao Guang and Sparxie.
General Yao Guang, Xianzhou Alliance Yuque Seer Strategist, is first. She eventually makes her debut after just being heard in the plot. Yao Guang, the Alliance's lead member to Fu Xuan, advises on divination in tough situations. Xianzhou residents call her "Madam Yao," a goddess of fortune who helps solve problems and provide good luck. Yao Guang, a Physical character on the Path of Elation, uses "Weal and Woe Lots" to dominate battles. Weal Lots boost ally Elation and give the squad "Punchline" stacks when Yao Guang utilizes her Skill. In an "Aha Instant," she casts Woe Lots, increasing enemies' DMG intake and replenishing team Skill Points. Her "Certified Banger" buff increases teammates' attacks to inflict additional Elation DMG by 1 instance, and if they use a Skill Point, the DMG is further boosted. Her Ultimate Skill also gives the squad "Punchline" and an extra "Aha Instant," boosting All-Type RES PEN for all teammates.
Sparxie, another Path of Elation 5-star Fire-Type character, is mysterious. The most popular streamer in Planarcadia, she resembles Masked Fool Sparkle. Sparxie and Sparkle will astonish players in the story. Sparxie streams a live upvote showdown with foes in combat. Players can give random "Gifts" to Sparxie to regenerate Skill Points or "Punchlines" for the squad. More Skill Points mean more Punchlines and a higher DMG at settlement. Sparxie starts a loud lucky draw in "Aha Instant," delivering enormous DMG to all enemies with many bounces. Every Gift activated during the live showdown will deal Elation DMG to a random enemy target upon settlement while in the "Certified Banger" state. Sparxie's Ultimate Skill adds Elation DMG.
In Honkai Star Rail Version 4.0 Warp (banner) events, limited 5-star characters Black Swan, Evernight, and Hysilens will appear in the first half, while Sparkle, Cerydra, and Rappa will emerge in the second phase. Black Swan and Sparkle will get buff adjustments. Black Swan can increase DOT teams' DMG production. Meanwhile, Sparkle's support effects will apply to Elation DMG, increasing their damage output and giving players more reliable and potent combat assistance. Log in after the patch launches to receive a 20-pull reward and Ruan Mei's new outfit for free. Additionally, the Yao Guang fortune event will award 1,600 Stellar Jades. New Trailblaze Outfits, headwear, and a free 5-star character selection will be available throughout this period, adding more surprises to your voyage.
Eventually, version 4.0 will add many new events and gameplay enhancements. In "Cosmicon Collective," you'll fight powerful opponents in card battles to reach cosmic power. In "Furbobo Weekly," players will edit magazines and have fun making tough selections. "Currency Wars" will get its first expansion, and "Divergent Universe" will get an update to add diversity to long-term problems.
Honkai: Star Rail x Fortnite Collab
Kafka and Blade, two key Stellaron Hunters from Honkai Star Rail, will appear in Fortnite on February 26, 2026, bringing their signature style and power to players worldwide.
In Fortnite, character Outfits express Honkai Star Rail's universe. Kafka and Blade bring their tactical depth and creative flair to Fortnite's burgeoning ecosystem, allowing gamers to experience their unique blend of action and imagination.
Kafka and Blade are members of Honkai Star Rail's mysterious Stellaron Hunters, who operate outside of ordinary power. Kafka is a calm and methodical girl from a fearless universe. She travels around the galaxy with frightening charm and danger. Blade, a restrained swordsman in red bandages, is cursed with immortality and regenerates from unhealed wounds. His constrained demeanor hides a power formed by anguish, memory, and a lingering history.
The partnership adds LEGO-compatible Kafka and Blade Outfits to the Fortnite Shop with unique visual designs based on their Honkai Star Rail personas. Back Bling, Pickaxe, and crossover items like LEGO Fortnite Styles will also be available.
The Fortnite Item Shop will add "Stellaron Hunter Kafka" and "Stellaron Hunter Blade" character skins on February 26. The Fortnite "Blade" character Outfit will be awarded to qualified players who download Honkai Star Rail from the Epic Games Store and complete specific tasks during the collaboration time. Add to that, Fortnite will debut a new UEFN island and a creator-involved collab tournament to unite players and content developers from both communities through participatory gameplay.
