Garena Delta Force: Season Echo, Tomb Raider Collab unveiled

Garena Delta Force on Thursday unveiled Season Echo, Tomb Raider Collaboration, and the tactical shooter game's 2026 regional esports roadmap. More info about the new content updates and tournaments below.

Season Echo

This new season, launching on April 21, 2026, brings a major update across gameplay, maps, and modes, as well as quality-of-life (QoL) improvements.

Zero Dam Map Update

Season Echo's Zero Dam map update has a revamped elevator extraction point to discourage camping and encourage dynamic encounters. The game feels more balanced and immersive with new flanking paths, less defensive cover, waterside flora, swimming mechanics, and environmental indications like birds reacting to hiding players.

Operations Mode Enhancements

Updated Operations game mode will include sandbox-style features:
  • Parkour Challenges: Leaderboards and operator-specific benefits for competitive traversal
  • Treasure Mounds: Players can find rewards, stash items, and write messages in interactive loot zones
  • Collection Room Updates: Display racks for weapons and new collectibles, such as a customizable soccer ball for gameplay achievements

Updates to Warfare Mode

Akh Canal, the 12th map in Warfare Mode, is the new season's response to the community's desire for faster-paced combat in a larger playspace. The map enables Attack and Defend and King of the Hill tactical confrontations with indoor spaces, open trenches, and a cargo ship chokepoint. Akh Canal is known for its dynamic environment, where you can trigger a precision strike to bring conflict closer and strategically modify the battlefield in real time.

Other vehicle and gameplay updates include:
  • Enhanced Vehicles: AAVs get Counter-fire Radar passives that highlight attacking opponents, while IFVs obtain guided missiles
  • Thermal Imaging Weaponry: Added to numerous vehicles for better target acquisition
  • Mobile Enhancements: Vehicle weapon aim assist and third-person driving perspective
  • Team Deathmatch Overload Points (OP): Combat performance grants HP regen, faster reload, and enemy detection buffs.

New Operator, Weapons, and QoL Improvements

Season Echo Update adds a new Operator and two key weapons for tactical variation.

Luke Everly, his code name Morse, is a master battlefield controller and recon specialist. He can disrupt opponents, gather intel, and generate opportunities for his squad using detection and disruption equipment. Morse brings pressure to combat in numerous situations, whether pushing or denying momentum.

For the new weapons, the AR57 has high-capacity firepower for continuous engagements and robust frontline combat, while the M82 has armor-penetrating heavy-caliber rounds for stunning long-range impact.

Tomb Raider Collab

Garena Delta Force will feature the iconic Lara Croft in an official collaboration with Tomb Raider. Luna will honor Lara's legacy by creating a visual tribute that reflects the tenacity and determination that both characters possess, as a tribute to their shared DNA of resilience.

In addition to this special outfit, players have the opportunity to confront a variety of in-game challenges that are inspired by Tomb Raider and are intended to test their survival instincts.

Garena Delta Force 2026 Esports Roadmap

Two significant Delta Force Invitationals are among the regional esports plans that have been disclosed for the year.

This June, the Delta Force Invitational: Warfare will be held in China. Three teams from Taiwan (TW) and Southeast Asia (SEA) will be qualified through the Pan-Pacific Warfare Cup, ending on April 19.

Another Delta Force Invitational is slated for November, with additional information to be revealed.

I know you're excited about the reworked Zero Dam map, from its flooded tunnels and hidden vaults to crows that can reveal you. So, let me know your thoughts or anticipations on this latest Garena Delta Force Season Echo. – PinoyTechSaga
