NU Bulldogs from the Philippines claimed the OPPO Hyper Legend Cup x MLBB Campus Series title, after defeating Malaysia's KPTM x Velocity in a neck-and-neck grand finals.
With their win, champions NU Bulldogs took home USD 32,000 (roughly PHP 1.9M) from the USD 100,000 (~ PHP 6M) prize pool. Meanwhile, runners-up earned USD 20,000.
The Filipino squad won the competition with superior map control, disciplined gameplay, and the high-performance OPPO Reno15 Series smartphones. This solidified the Philippines' dominance in competitive Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
To recap the tournament, NU Bulldogs defeated eight of Southeast Asia's top collegiate teams by maintaining map control and waiting for openings rather than forcing clashes.
Despite early pacing issues, the Pinoy MLBB team remained calm in the Grand Finals, where they dominated with sharper team battles and more decisive objective grabs.
On the other hand, their fellow Filipino squad, FAITH Colleges Bravehearts, settled for 4th place and bagged USD 8,000 as a consolation prize.
Novus Bravehearts were eliminated by NU Bulldogs in the Lower Bracket Semifinal.
If you're also a Filipino Mobile Legends player, especially a student, I know you're proud of the NU Bulldogs' victory. – PinoyTechSaga
