Honor of Kings (HOK) has unveiled details for the Honor of Kings World Cup (KWC) at the 2026 Esports World Cup, which will be held in Paris, France, with Play-ins slated to start on July 30.
This year's tournament marks a major milestone for the HOK esports ecosystem, as it will bring together elite teams from both Honor of Kings and Arena of Valor (AOV) in the first-ever cross-title battle at the Honor of Kings World Cup.
Twenty participating teams will battle for a share of the USD 3 million prize pool, with the Grand Finals set to take place on August 8.
KWC at EWC 2026 Patch Version Details
A revolutionary cross-title format will elevate competition at KWC 2026, which will be played on a custom Honor of Kings Season 15 tournament patch designed for elite competition.
A KWC - EWC 2026 stage with 111 playable heroes is unlocked by this tournament patch, giving pro teams full strategic depth and ban-pick options.
To create a genuine cross-title arena, the patch gives teams 111 heroes to select from, allowing for new meta-shaping strategies, team compositions, and cross-regional skill display unique to KWC 2026.
KWC 2026 welcomes teams from India, Vietnam, Thailand, and Taiwan, expanding its worldwide influence beyond the game. The expansion makes KWC at EWC26 one of the most international MOBA esports events, linking players, fans, and narratives worldwide.

KWC-EWC 2026 will take place July 30–August 8 in three stages. Global Ban & Pick, a revolutionary drafting format, will return to the competition, raising the bar and adding strategic depth to every match.
