Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Women's International (MWI) at Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026 has successfully ended, with Indonesia's Team Vitality securing the championship. This is their back-to-back EWC title as well as their fourth MWI win.
The Indonesian team entered the Grand Final hoping to repeat their success at MWI-EWC 2025. Team Vitality, a France-headquartered club composed of an Indonesian roster, is one of the most successful and decorated women's Mobile Legends esports teams. They are widely known for their expertise, consistency, and international record.
Team Vitality faced Natus Vincere PH, the Filipino squad that defeated them at MWI 2024. Likewise, NAVI managed to have a successful international campaign this year, overcoming a tough Lower Bracket run in the Group Stage to reach the Knockout Stage and Grand Finals.
The MWI-EWC 2026 grand final was a historical rematch between the two teams. Ultimately, Team Vitality emerged victorious, securing a dominant 4-2 score in a best-of-seven match.
The path to victory for Team Vitality, however, was not easy. The opening game witnessed early domination by NAVI PH, keeping the Indonesian lineup on their toes, as they seized the win. Team Vitality subsequently tied the score in game two and won their second point in the third, placing NAVI 2-1 behind.
Vitality reached match point in the sixth game, and despite NAVI's best efforts to go all seven games, the defending champions closed the tournament in a blink with a 4-2 triumph to retain their Esports World Cup title.
With their MWI-EWC 2026 victory, Team Vitality took home the USD 150,000 grand prize and racked up a precious 1,000 points in the Club Championship. Viorelle "Vival" Chen won her second MVP title and received an additional USD 25,000.
Despite the loss, NAVI's runner-up finish strengthens the Philippines' position as a top Mobile Legends region. As runners-up, they earned USD 90,000 in consolation and 750 EWC Club Points.
On the other hand, Galaxy Phoenix faced Geltek Cyber Team in a best-of-five series in the third-placer match. Geltek Cyber Team emerged triumphant in a clean 3-0 sweep, despite the fact that the battle was hard-fought. GCT, the sole European squad to advance to the Knockout Stage, bagged a USD 50,000 prize in consolation and collected 500 Club Championship points.
