Xiaomi Philippines has launched two new projectors, including the Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro and Mi Laser Projector 150″.
The Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro features two focus modes: Time-of-Flight (TOF) Instant Focus and camera focus. It supports up to 200 inches of projected screen size with FHD resolution (1920 x 1080) and 16:9/4:3 aspect ratio.
This smart projector is powered by an Amlogic T962X-H processor, coupled with 16GB eMMC onboard storage and 2GB DDR3 RAM. It runs under the Android TV 9.0 operating system and has Chromecast built-in.
Moreover, it is also equipped with various ports: two USB ports, two HDMI ports, S/PDIF, an ethernet port (LAN), and a 3.5mm audio output. It also supports dual-band WiFi (2.4GHz and 5GHz) and Bluetooth 4.2.
For its audio, it comes with dual 10W, 1.75″ full-frequency high-fidelity speakers. For sound clarity, it supports Dolby Surround Audio and DTS HD.
On the other hand, the Mi Laser Projector 150″ supports up to 150 inches of projected screen size, with FHD resolution (1920 x 1080), 16:9 aspect ratio, 3000:1 native contrast, 85%+ NTSC color range, and 5000-lumen brightness. This 7kg projector can be mounted to a wall or placed 5cm to 50cm away from the display surface on a TV cabinet.
Furthermore, the Mi Laser Projector runs on Android 8.1 with support for Google assistant. It is also equipped with T962X Cortex-A53 quad-core processor, paired with 2GB DDR4 RAM and 16GB eMMC internal storage.
When it comes to connectivity, it has dual-band WiFi (2.4GHz and 5GHz) and Bluetooth 4.0 BLE connection support. It has different ports including, one USB port, three HDMI ports, AV input, S/PDIF, an ethernet port, and a 3.5mm audio output. Additionally, the remote control for the projector is compact and ergonomic and includes a Google Assistant button.
Regarding its sound system, it packs the same custom speaker system developed for Mi TV, with built-in high power double full frequency + dual high-fidelity speakers. It incorporates a unique inverted sound tube design and supports DOLBY and DTS HD.
The Xiaomi Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro is priced at PHP 39,990, while the Mi Laser Projector 150″ retails at PHP 69,990. Both projectors are now available through the official Xiaomi online store.
