Overwatch’s latest event, Cassidy’s New Blood Challenge, is now live PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. It will run from now until November 23, bringing several rewards, including player icon, sprays, the new Sandstorm Cassidy epic skin, and more.
Moreover, Blizzard Entertainment has partnered with Dark Horse for a new comic series following Cassidy as he seeks out heroes for Overwatch in Overwatch: New Blood.
To coincide with the New Blood Challenge, the first issue of the five-part digital series, written by Ray Fawkes and illustrated by Irene Koh, is also available.
Cassidy’s New Blood Challenge Rewards
Here are the details to get rewards from the latest event. Your wins in Quick Play, Competitive Play, or Arcade will earn you a new player icon, a new spray, and new epic skin:
- Play 9 Games – Player Icon
- Play 18 Games – Spray
- Play 27 Games – Sandstorm Cassidy (Epic Skin)
Twitch Rewards
You may get more cosmetics by watching Twitch streamers prior, during, or after matches. So watch any Twitch streamer playing Overwatch now until November 23 to earn these six Cassidy’s New Blood sprays.

For the uninitiated, Overwatch is a team-based hero shooter game that features two teams of six players battling it out to accomplish map-specific objectives. It is available on Windows PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch, supporting cross-platform play.
