TECNO Mobile has announced the newest addition to its POVA series, the POVA 3. Check out its specs, features, and price below.
According to TECNO Mobile, its latest smartphone offering for 2022 is set to empower the Filipino youth. This is yet another of the mobile brand’s affordable smartphones that allow the company to fulfill its mission of providing innovative technology to young-at-heart and forward-thinking individuals in emerging markets.
While the POVA line was initially introduced in the Philippines as a gaming phone, this latest model promises to deliver much more. POVA 3 features an extreme power supply system, provides an exceptional ace experience and offers enhanced performance, all while exhibiting an innovative technological appearance.
The POVA 3’s 7000mAh battery is capable of up to 1818 hours of standby time, 8.8 hours of gameplay, 53 hours of music playback, 23 hours of YouTube video play with earphones on medium volume, 26 hours of Facebook and web browsing, and 51 hours of screen-off call time. With 33W fast charging, the POVA 3 requires only 23 minutes to charge for three hours of gameplay and 120 minutes for a complete charge. Battery Lab 2.1 also provides easy-to-control power saving options, such as daily power saving and intelligent power saving scenarios such as Sleep.
MediaTek Helio G88 provides multiple hardware acceleration engines for excellent image capability, whereas MediaTek Hyper-Engine 2.0 Lite provides consistent performance and a fluid gaming experience by proactively detecting battery, heat dissipation, and game features and adjusting CPU, GPU, and memory resources. With increased RAM, users can even enjoy a more fluid experience when simultaneously launching multiple mobile apps.
Enhancements to the POVA 3 also include a 90Hz refresh rate, graphite heat dissipation film that ensures stable gaming output, a 4D linear vibrator motor for a true three-dimensional interactive gaming experience, and a DTS-backed dual speaker with distortion prevention. This “bang for the buck” smartphone is also equipped with Panther Game Engine 2.0 for high efficiency, low power consumption, and an exceptional full-frame experience, as well as Game Space 2.0 for a cool interface update.
POVA 3 maintains the science and technology design aesthetic of the POVA series and is available in Tech Silver and Eco Black, as well as a special Electric Blue colorway with an added LED light energy belt featuring a luminous indicator for notifications, calls, charging, games, and other interactive scenes.
The camera’s Professional Mode supports exposure time, autofocus, ISO, white balance, brightness, and manual adjustments via its 8MP selfie camera and triple rear camera setup composed of a 50MP primary shooter, 2MP secondary camera, and AI lens. POVA 3 is also equipped with HDR Mode capture, Intelligent Focus Tracking, Portrait Restoration, Video Stabilization, and Super Night Portrait capabilities.

The TECNO POVA 3 is available for purchase at the TECNO Global Store in Lazada, the TECNO Mobile PH Official Store in Shopee, the TECNO Mobile PH Flagship Store in Lazada, and all TECNO Concept Stores and Kiosks, as well as TECNO Partner Retail Stores. POVA 3 has a suggested retail price of Php 8,999 for the silver and black 6GB + 128GB models and Php 9,399 for the limited Electric Blue model with LED light belt.
