Both devices also include industry-first safety features such as Crash Detection and Emergency SOS capabilities via satellite.

iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus utilize the same Apple A15 Bionic processor as the iPhone 13 from the previous year. The iPhone 14 flaunts a 6.1-inch display, and the iPhone 14 Plus has a 6.7-inch display. Both devices include Super Retina XDR screens with Ceramic Shield for scratch protection and aluminum bodies with IP68 dust and water resistance.

Both phones sport a 12MP f/1.5 primary camera with optical image stabilization and a 12MP f/2.4 ultra-wide camera on the rear. They have a 12MP f/1.9 TrueDepth autofocus camera for selfies. The Photonic Engine enhances the mid- to low-light performance of all cameras' photos. In addition, there is a new Activity mode for smooth-looking videos that compensate for large shaking, movements, and vibrations, even when recording in the middle of the action.

iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max Key Highlights

The iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max are powered by the Apple A16 Bionic, the world's fastest mobile chip. In addition, they receive 48MP f/1.8 (main) + 12MP f/2.8 (telephoto) + 12MP f/2.2 (ultrawide) triple rear cameras as well as the same 12MP autofocus front-facing camera.

Both Pro models include a new Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion that includes the Always-On display (AOD) for the first time on an iPhone, enabled by a new 1Hz refresh rate and multiple power-efficient technologies. It also features a peak outdoor brightness of 2,000 nits and adaptive dimming.

Both Pro models are built with surgical-grade stainless steel and textured matte glass and are available in Deep Purple, Gold, Silver, and Space Black.

Additionally, Pro models have the new Dynamic Island function. It is a pill-shaped cutout for FaceID and the selfie camera that expands smoothly to display notifications and animations.
