Disney+ has announced that it will be available in the Philippines on November 17, 2022. The monthly subscription starts at 159 Pesos.
The video-on-demand over-the-top streaming service features shows and movies from Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel, National Geographic, and Star.
Filipinos will be able to stream an ever-growing library of global, regional, and Asian language content, including Marvel Cinematic Universe blockbusters, award-winning Pixar animation, and Korean content featuring K-Pop group BTS, other top Asian stars, and more K-drama series, under the Star brand.
Moreover, Star offers countless hours of general entertainment programming produced by Disney Television Studios (ABC Signature and 20th Television), FX Productions, 20th Century Studios, and others. Star provides popular films and television programs, including the Emmy-winning Grey's Anatomy, Only Murders in the Building, Dopesick, The Bear, The Simpsons, and The Kardashians. On top of that, Star will deliver exclusive originals created in collaboration with Asia-Pacific producers and directors.
Disney and Pixar classics such as The Lion King, Zootopia, Mulan, and Aladdin will be available for viewing. Fans of Marvel can now watch shows and films like WandaVision, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Moonknight, and Loki. Also, all 12 Star Wars films are included.
