Ookla has released details on the fastest 5G mobile devices for Q3 2022 in 10 countries, including the Philippines. Check out below the fastest 5G smartphones in the country as per Ookla's Speedtest Intelligence report for Q3 2022.

During the third quarter of 2022, consumers in the Philippines can upgrade to a number of top 5G devices, although there is no statistical winner for the fastest 5G smartphone. Samsung Galaxy A53 5G recorded a median 5G download speed of 199.90 Mbps, Huawei Nova 7 5G with 192.80 Mbps, Huawei Nova 7 SE 5G with 188.32 Mbps, Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G with 185.85 Mbps, and Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G with 183.54 Mbps.
Using Speedtest Intelligence, Ookla analyzed 5G performance data in the ten countries with the highest number of connected mobile devices, according to GSMA, and which also had an established 5G market by the end of the third quarter of 2022.

The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G is a "premium mid-range" smartphone equipped with a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a high 120Hz screen refresh rate, 64MP + 12MP + 5MP + 5MP quad rear cameras with optical image stabilization (OIS), and a 32MP front-facing camera. It is powered by an Exynos 1280 chipset with 8GB of RAM, the Android 12 operating system, and OneUI 4.1 software. There is also a fingerprint scanner beneath the display, a 5G connection, dual-band Wi-Fi, Dolby Atmos audio, stereo speakers, and expandable storage of up to 256GB. The smartphone is powered by a big 5000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging.
The Huawei Nova 7 is a 5G smartphone that has a 6.53-inch FHD+ OLED display, a 32MP punch-hole front-facing camera, and a 64MP + 8MP + 8MP + 2MP quad rear camera system with 20x digital zoom. It is powered by a Huawei Kirin 985 5G processor with 8GB of RAM, an Android 10 operating system, EMUI 10.1 software, and Huawei Mobile Services. There is also a fingerprint scanner beneath the display, a 5G connection, NFC, and 256GB of internal storage. The gadget is powered by a 4,000mAh battery with 40W Huawei SuperCharge technology that claims 75% battery life in 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, the Huawei nova 7 SE is a 5G smartphone with a 6.5-inch FHD+ display, 16MP punch-hole front-facing camera, and 64MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP quad rear camera configuration. It is powered by a Kirin 820 5G chipset, 8GB of RAM, the Android 10 operating system, EMUI 10 software, and the Huawei AppGallery. In addition, there is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, compatibility with 5GHz Wi-Fi, and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone is powered by a 4,000mAh battery that supports up to 40W fast charging technology.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, on the other hand, is a midrange smartphone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor and a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a 108MP triple rear camera system, a 16MP front-facing camera, and 128GB or 256GB of expandable storage. In addition, there is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 5G connection, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Hi-Res audio. The smartphone is powered by a big 5000mAh battery that supports 67W Turbo fast charging.
