Samsung has launched its new wearables, the Galaxy Watch6 and Galaxy Watch6 Classic. Check out their specs, features, and prices in the Philippines below.
According to Samsung, the Galaxy Watch6 series has a "refined and sleek design" with "a slimmer bezel, a larger and more vibrant display," as well as a "more interactive user interface." It has a lot to give in terms of health and performance. Both Galaxy Watch6 and Galaxy Watch6 Classic also give users access to a wider range of customizable watch faces and new band choices that help them reach their goals.

Personalized Guidance
Realizing that better health starts with better sleep, Samsung is helping Galaxy Watch6 series users optimize their night the same way they optimize their day by focusing on three key elements of better sleep: understanding personal sleep patterns, developing better habits, and creating a sleep-friendly environment.
Building on advanced sleep and wellness features, the Galaxy Watch6 series now offers an in-depth analysis of Sleep Score Factors, such as total sleep time, sleep cycle, awake time, and physical and mental recovery, to help users understand the quality of sleep they get each night. Sleep Messages, which were made in collaboration with the National Sleep Foundation and are more personalized, also give users specific feedback about their sleep health every morning. Galaxy Watch6 also has a feature called Sleep Consistency, which shows how constant the user's sleep and wake times are, and a Sleep Animal Symbol, which shows what kind of sleeper they are.
With Enhanced Sleep Coaching, users can act on what they've learned about sleep by accessing personalized directions, tips, and reminders on both their wrist and a paired smartphone. When it's time for bed, the Galaxy Watch6 can help set the ideal sleep environment by automatically adjusting the settings of connected home electronics and turning on Sleep Mode on the user's watch and phone to mute notifications, dim screens, and even turn on the invisible LED infrared sensor on the watch to give valuable health insights without adding more light distractions.
Customizing fitness features is a way to keep people going on their journey. With key physical measurements like basal metabolic rate, skeletal muscle, body water, and body fat percentage, Body Composition gives a full picture of the user's body and fitness, helping them set goals, track progress, and get personalized fitness and nutritional tips, thanks to a new partnership with Whisk.
A new feature called Personalized Heart Rate Zone analyzes individual physical capabilities and finds the five best levels of running intensity. This lets users set their own goals based on their abilities, like burning fat or doing a high-intensity workout. In addition to the more than 100 existing workout trackers, the new Track Run feature records the user's runs on a track, and the Custom Workout feature lets users create and track their own workout program.
On the other hand, the Fall Detection feature can tell if a person has fallen while working out, standing still, or even sleeping if they fall out of bed. When your watch detects a fall, it will immediately call an emergency service number or other people on the contacts you have pre-selected.
Refined Design
The Galaxy Watch6 series takes the wearable experience to a new level with all-new designs that offer better viewing, more power, and a bigger range of more comfortable and customizable options.
It's easier to read and write on the 20% bigger screen, which shows more text and has a bigger keyboard while still being a comfortable size. With a peak brightness of 2,000 nits and an Always On Display (AOD) brightness adjustment feature, the display is brighter, more colorful, and has a better resolution. This lets users see and do more even when the sun is out. With its faster processor and more memory, the Galaxy Watch6 makes interactions smoother and quicker.
The bezel on the Galaxy Watch6 and Watch6 Classic is 30% smaller and the rotating bezel is 15% thinner. This makes the signature circle frame look even better. Galaxy Watch6 series has new stylish, interactive, and informative watch faces that make the most of the big display. New one-click bands make it easy to mix and match watch bands. For example, a new lightweight Fabric Band and Sleep Coaching watch face go well together to help you learn useful information about your sleep while staying comfortable.
The Galaxy Watch6 series has a larger battery and reduced battery consumption to support its bigger and brighter display. With a fast charge that only takes eight minutes, users can get an extra eight hours, which is great for tracking their sleep at night.
Interesting Features
Every user of the Galaxy Watch6 line can do more. With WhatsApp, Galaxy Watch users can stay in touch with friends and family without having to pull out their phones. This fall, new apps from Google Calendar and Gmail will be available only on Wear OS. These apps will let users stay productive right from their watch. With updates to Peloton and MyFitnessPal, they can also keep track of their fitness progress or nutrition data more easily. Soon, they will also have more streaming choices with Audible. Also, a new Skin Temperature API, which is part of Samsung's Privileged Health software development kit (SDK), will soon give partners access to advanced infrared technology for more exact measurements, giving users a whole new world of options. The new API is used by a new app called Thermo Check. This app lets users measure the temperature of their favorite meal or the ocean before going for a swim without touching it.
When combined with other Samsung products, the Galaxy Watch6 series gives users even more to do. The updated Camera Controller makes it possible to change modes, angles, and zoom on a paired Galaxy Z Flip5 camera from a distance. A guided exercise or mindfulness program on a Samsung Smart TV or Galaxy Tab S9 shows the user's progress in real-time on a big screen. With Auto Switch, users can also set their Galaxy Buds2 Pro to instantly switch between their Samsung devices. Find My Phone now works with maps, so if a person loses their phone, they can use a Galaxy Watch6 series to figure out where it is.
Meanwhile, the Samsung Knox security engine makes sure that personal information on the watch is safe.
