Mobile Legends Esports unveils 2024 roadmap, Mid-Season Cup

Mobile Legends Esports has revealed its roadmap for 2024, which includes the rebranding of the MLBB Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) to the Mid-Season Cup.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Esports 2024 Roadmap

The Mid-Season Cup was first announced in the 2024 esports roadmap. It was renamed to align with MOONTON Games' Esports for Everyone vision, which aims to promote diversity and inclusivity so that more athletes from around the world can participate in one of the most-watched esports tournaments in the world.

For the first time, the Mid-Season Cup will be held outside Southeast Asia. More areas, including China, will be able to compete, and the prize pool will be bigger.

Players can get ready for a thrilling year ahead as there will be a plethora of third-party tournaments and events to promote diversity and inclusivity.

In 2024, more than 2000 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang matches spanning 55 countries and regions will be held by various MLBB Esports teams and professional, semi-professional, and community tournament organizers. Some of these events include the Snapdragon Pro Series organized by EFG, MSC 2024, the MLBB Women's Invitational, the M6 World Championship, IESF, and many more.

The following key regions will host upcoming Mobile Legends tournaments for the year 2024: Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, Myanmar, the Middle East and North Africa, East Europe and Central Asia, Türkiye, Mongolia, the Mekong Region (consisting of Laos, Thailand, Vietnam, and Brunei), North America, Latin America, and most notably - China.

The upcoming M6 World Championship will follow the Wild Card Format, along with the Group and Knockout Stage. The international championship is scheduled to take place in Malaysia, where the inaugural M-Series was held. The competition will run from November to December and will include 20+ teams from over 20 countries and regions, with more than 50 matches to look forward to.

Meanwhile, the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional Leagues (MPL) and semi-professional tournaments will take place from February to mid-June and then from August to October. These events will serve as qualifying tournaments for officially sanctioned competitions.

MOONTON Games said it will announce more details about MSC 2024 soon.
