OPPO announced that it is bringing generative AI across all its smartphone product lines as it aims to make AI phones accessible to everyone.
According to OPPO, its generative AI technology should not be limited to its flagship phones and a select few but should be available to a broader range of consumers worldwide.
This means OPPO's generative AI features will also be available to its budget smartphone lineup, the A Series, in addition to the Find Series, Reno Series, and F Series.
Billy Zhang, President of Overseas MKT, Sales and Service at OPPO, said:
For the first time in the industry, OPPO is bringing generative AI to all product lines. By the end of this year, we expect to bring generative AI features to about 50 million users.
Earlier this year, OPPO established a specialized research and development center, which it calls OPPO AI Center, to develop AI experiences that are user-centric.
The mobile brand said its intention is to implement full-stack transformation and ecosystem restructuring for AI phones in order to implement Large Language Models (LLMs) across all of its product lines.
In addition to increasing the accessibility of AI throughout its ecosystem, OPPO intends to broaden the range of AI experiences it provides to its customers.
The company has disclosed that it is collaborating with Google to incorporate AI Writer and AI Recording Summary capabilities into its devices.
Additionally, OPPO is collaborating with MediaTek to "enhance chip storage and computational efficiency" of its future flagship models.
Moreover, future OPPO phones will acquire "Microsoft capabilities" as a result of a partnership with Microsoft, which will enhance the connection between desktop AI and phones.
In order to stimulate creativity and increase productivity, OPPO has incorporated numerous innovative features into its AI phones.
In terms of productivity, the integration of LLMs and technologies such as rapid transcription enables users to process a greater amount of information and experience real-time translation. Additionally, cross-device collaboration between desktop AI and phones has resulted in additional productivity enhancements.

Multimodal generation and motion generation technologies have also revolutionized photo editing and personalized creation on the creative side. For example, the OPPO AI Eraser feature enables users to rapidly generate missing content and remove unwanted objects in a seamless manner. At present, it is utilized an average of 15 times per day. Simultaneously, multimodal technology facilitates the effortless creation of innovative visual and textual content for social media platforms.
