New MLBB team Aurora reveals MPL PH S14 roster

Serbian esports org Aurora Gaming is set to enter MPL Philippines Season 14 with an all-Filipino roster, mainly from Blacklist International.

In a Facebook post, Aurora MLBB officially revealed its lineup for Mobile Legends Professional League Philippines (MPL PH) Season 14, featuring notable veterans from various teams like Blacklist International, RSG, Minana EVOS, and TNC Pro Team.

The Aurora ML lineup for MPL PH Season 14 is composed of the following:
  • Edward Jay "Edward" Dapadap
  • Kenneth Carl "Yue" Tadeo
  • Renejay "Renejay" Barcase
  • Jan Dominic "Domeng" Delmundo
  • Jonard Cedrix "Demonkite" Caranto
  • Ben Seloe "Benthings" Maglaque
  • Head Coach: Aniel "Master the Basics" Jiandani
  • Assistant Coach: Dexter "DEX STAR" Alaba

The Aurora MLBB MPL PH S14 roster includes former Blacklist International talents such as mid laner Yue, EXP laner Edward, and roamer Renejay, who took a vacation last season.

Former MINANA Evos gold laner Domeng and former RSG Philippines jungler Demonkite round out the team. Meanwhile, former TNC roamer Benthings serves as the sixth man and analyst.

Aurora Gaming's coaching team includes Aniel "Master The Basics" Jiandani and Dexter "Dex Star" Alaba, who were both former Blacklist International staff.

Meanwhile, M3 world champions Johnmar "OhMyV33nus" Villaluna and Danerie James "Wise" Del Rosario (collectively known as V33Wise) also joined Aurora MLBB but as content creators only and not formally part of this season's lineup.

To recall, V33Wise, along with other members, left Blacklist International earlier this month. The powerful duo led Blacklist to MPL Philippines championships in Seasons 7, 8, and 10 and also helped the team win the Mobile Legends M3 World Championship in 2021. They have been inactive for more than a year after leading Blacklist to a runner-up spot in the MLBB Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2023.

Aurora Gaming, which has headquarters in Serbia, was founded in 2022 and has since evolved to become a notable esports company with teams in Dota 2, Warcraft, Apex Legends, and Counter-Strike 2.

Aurora Gaming, which replaced Minana EVOS as MPL PH's eighth team, is poised to play in Season 14, with the opportunity to represent the country in the forthcoming M6 World Championship in Malaysia, which begins in November, as announced during the MLBB Mid Season Cup (MSC) 2024 finals.
