Dawn of the Hunt, Path of Exile 2's first early access content update, has been out for a while, and the development team has gathered statistics from the initial weeks since the update's release.
Here's a 1-month recap of stats, from monsters beaten to most-played classes, as revealed by Grinding Gear Games and Level Infinite:
- The boss Arbiter of Ash has been defeated 355,877 times.
- Players have cleared 3,406,779 unique maps.
- A total of 3.27 trillion gold has dropped, averaging 6.48 billion gold per hour.
- Players have exited 1.44 billion instances.
- Standard leagues have seen 185,961,090 player character eliminations.
- Hardcore leagues have recorded 291,112 player character wipeouts.
Meanwhile, here's the breakdown of the top 5 most played classes:
- 23.78 percent – Amazon
- 12.27 percent – Lich
- 10.12 percent – Deadeye
- 8.15 percent – Smith of Kitava
- 7.87 percent – Invoker
The least played classes are as follows:
- 0.74 percent – Acolyte of Chayula
- 1.32 percent – Chronomancer
- 1.77 percent – Tactician
- 1.77 percent – Warbringer
- 1.82 percent – Pathfinder
To recap, the Path of Exile 2: Dawn of the Hunt update (Patch 0.2.0), released on April 4, 2025 (April 5 in the Philippines), was the first major content update for the game's Early Access. It introduced the Huntress class, a spear-and-buckler hybrid melee/ranged character, five new Ascendancy classes (Ritualist, Amazon, Smith of Kitava, Tactician, Lich), and over a hundred new Unique items. The update revamped endgame systems, added Azmeri Wisps as a new mechanic to buff monsters and loot, and included 25 new skills and 100+ Support Gems.
Regarding the Dawn of the Hunt stats, PoE2 players have some comments. Like they are looking for stats for Lightning Spear and Altas Passive Skills.
I want to remind you guys that Path of Exile 2 is a free-to-play action role-playing game, though it offers paid early access on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (via Steam and Epic Games). It will be free for everyone once it's fully launched.
