Project Spirits, Shift Up's new subculture cross-platform game, will have Tencent's Level Infinite as its global publisher.
Just a little info about Project Spirits. Developed on Unreal Engine (UE) 5, it is a game for PC, consoles, and mobile platforms, which is described as "a subculture cross-platform title" inspired by "Eastern fantasy."
Shift Up is working together with Yongxing Interactive, a Tencent affiliate, on this co-development project. Yongxing Interactive focuses on making high-quality games.
The main team includes experienced members from top gaming companies that specialize in ACG (Anime, Comics, Gaming) games. Together, they bring a strong background in the industry and effective development skills.
This partnership is the second global collaboration between Level Infinite and Shift Up. Their first project, Goddess of Victory Nikke, was a worldwide success. Now, both companies aim to work even better together on Project Spirits.
As per Level Infinite, it wants to create "the next generation of gaming experiences for players" around the world by using Shift Up's skills and proven track record with popular games like Nikke and Stellar Blade.
To do this, they have made their partnership even stronger, now working together on both publishing and development.
