PC MMORPG Black Desert has enthralled players with intense gameplay, stunning visuals, and a large open world since its SEA launch. To celebrate this milestone, players are invited to join the events.

Earn rewards through Challenges for two weeks starting today by simply logging in. Rewards include [Event] Celebratory Accessory Selection Box, a Supreme Old Moon Box, Advice of Valks (+150), and [Event] 8th Anniversary Cake.

The special cake boosts Combat, Life, and Skill EXP by 100% for 24 hours when placed in a residence.

Further, a special "Gift Box" boss will arrive three times a day at set times around Loggia Farm in Velia. Players can fight the boss to obtain rewards and then enter "0117" in the chatbox to receive additional rewards like Advice of Valks (+150).

On January 16, 2026, the Black Desert team and partner content creators held a dancing competition at Gyeonghoeru Pavilion to honor the occasion. Viewers can vote in each division during the show, influencing the outcomes. Players who watch the live stream can get special rewards.

The Special Hot Time Event, running until January 22, boosts Combat EXP by 800%, Skill EXP by 400%, and Item Drop Rate by 80%.

Finally, starting January 22, players can earn seals through Black Desert activities and exchange them for Advice of Valks (+250), 2,000 Cron Stones, and more.
