POCO X5 and POCO X5 Pro, the mobile brand's latest mid-range lineup, have been launched in the Philippines. Check out their specs, features, and price.
The 120Hz Flow AMOLED Dot Display on the new POCO X5 series has a size of 6.67 inches, a resolution of Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels), a touch sampling rate of 240Hz, and a 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut.
There are some minor differences in the screens of the POCO X5 lineup. The display of the base X5 model has a peak brightness of 1200 nits and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Meanwhile, the Pro version has better Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and 10-bit colors.
When it comes to their chipsets, the POCO X5 5G features a 6nm 2.2GHz Snapdragon 695 octa-core processor with Adreno 619 GPU. In comparison, the POCO X5 Pro has a more powerful 6nm 2.4GHz Snapdragon 778G octa-core processor with Adreno 642L GPU.
Both variants come in similar memory configurations of 6GB or 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage.
While their batteries have the same capacity of 5,000mAh, their charging speeds are rated at 33W and 67W, respectively. Both charge via USB-C.
Both devices use different Megapixels for the primary sensor in their rear cameras. The POCO X5 is equipped with 48-megapixel, while the POCO X5 Pro has 108-megapixel. Their two remaining sensors are both 8-megapixel 118-degree ultra-wide shooters and 2-megapixel f/2.4 macro sensors. For their selfie cameras, they come with 13-megapixel f/2.45 and 16-megapixel f/2.4, respectively.
Other highlights include a side-mounted fingerprint reader, AI Face unlock for security, an IR blaster, a 3.5mm audio jack, Hi-Res Audio, and IP53 dust and splash resistance.
Regarding connectivity, the two gaming smartphones have 5G, 4G, WiFi (dual-band), Bluetooth, NFC, and dual SIM support.
